  Decent B&B, not a hotel!

  The place had clean rooms, ample parking, homely breakfast, good decor and close to the Zell Am See lake by car, hardworking owners however the high ratings are quite deceiving. This is more of a b&b, than a hotel and is in a residential area. Here are a few instances that put us off: - The hotel charged us extra for an infant even though an infant was mentioned on the website when we made the booking and the owner insisted we should have mentioned 3 adults which is quite absurd. None of the other hotels we stayed in on our trip asked us for this. - One of the days, we wanted to just rest and left the room late around 12ish and the lady got upset that we should have left earlier and they cant clean so late, they did clean it eventually but the behaviour was a bit rude. We were on a holiday and had paid for the room so we should be able to leave the room whenever we want. If they wanted to clean earlier , they should have knocked and we would have stepped out for a bit if they needed to clean only in that time frame. - Railway track right behind the property hence quite noisy at night also - Although this feels like a B&B, the pricing is of a hotel

  Great breakfast

  We stayed as a group of 10 for a long weekend to ski in Zell-am/Kaprun. Arriving Thursday, leaving Sunday. Plus points for me were that the property is warm, and there are facilities for your skis/boots. Breakfast is also very good and theres as much coffee as you can drink(provides you dont want the coffee from the 2 vending machine). The owners seemed friendly enough and welcoming too. On the downside, it was very expensive for what we got. We were squeezed into rooms through the addition of a fairly small camp bed which almost all of us were too tall for. So the sleeping arrangements were not comfortable at all. The rooms are really big enough for a couple, not for more. We also asked if it was possible to keep 1 room past the check out for a few hours to get a shower and keep our bags til the transfer arrived. We ended up paying another 100 which seemed a bit excessive. Last thing is the proximity to things. Its around 15 to get a taxi into the main town where the apres ski is. And despite being pretty fit, it took a good 20 mins walking in ski gear to get to the bus stop, then another 45-50 mins for the bus into Kaprun, or 15 mins to Zell am main lift station. The alternative was 20-25 min walk to get to the shuttdorf lift station on this side of Zell am. All in all, a lot of walking in ski boots.

  Comfortable

  Just left after a 3 night stay here , the host Marco & specially his wife GITI ( hotel named after her ) are a fabulous hardworking couple host . Good size rooms , although the attached bathroom was a little small for my comfort. Room was very efficiently & quickly cleaned up when we were in breakfast by the cleaning lady GITTI ( not the host though) Breakfast is basic Wat one would want & they may even try to address if one has special requests ( as I requested for white slice bread for toast ) which wasnt there otherwise. Good fruits , juice , cereals . One may please note since its not a full fledged hotel & run by a couple , one may be well advised to not have sky high expectations to enjoy the hospitality, but we were more than happy . Fabulous service , clean super clean rooms and have not seen in many hotels , but one can use their USB cord to charge their phones & gadgets & trust me its so very helpful when u dont have converters that r required for local use . Also location is a little away from main zell am see & the lake . We walked up to the lake on the 1st evening & got lost on our way but for a humble soul ( Sylvia ) who very kindly dropped us off in her car for which we very thankful.   Best romanic hotel in Zell Am see

  I visit several times zell am see but this trip is definitely,i stay with my family family (wife And son) two night amazing hotel & Very clean , perfect breakfast ( Omelet delicious ) Space room very good with balcony and small room for my son amazing layout room Parking space and coffe machine serve self 2 Euro 24 Hours. I have some pictures but my phone reset all and delete lovely memories Thank you for all

  Review

  The WiFi is horrible. Rooms are small. Some staff move your stuff around when its not necessary. Good food. Raw eggs. Ok view. Not too far from the centre. Owners are nice but come off kind of creepy at some points.
