  sueño imposible

  Reservamos una habitación familiar, para 3. Aspectos positivos: buena limpieza, servicio adecuado, desayuno correcto y decoración bonita. Lo negativo: -la cama de matrimonio, era la peor en la que me ha tocado "dormir", tanto el colchón como la almohada eran insufribles. -la cama del tercer huesped era hinchable. Horrible. -La habitación, no disponía de persianas ni cortinas, sólo venecianas por las que entraba luz, ruido y frío.Sueño imposible. -El baño era mínimo: lavabo mínimo, plato ducha mínimo. Buenas toallas.

  Muy lindo

  Muy buena atencion por parte de los dueños, buen servicio, hotel comodo y desayuno sencillo pero muy rico. La cama no era muy buena ya que te ibas al medio de ella. Facil acceso en transporte publico desde el centro

  Pretty basic

  They try hard but it all seems pretty superficial. The room was fine (but up a very step staircase) though the floor both in our room and the room above was very creaky and noise from the breakfast room was also very obtrusive. Breakfast was basic continental plus eggs done to order which was fine. The bus stops are close and there is a laundrette just around the corner. Choice of restaurants without going into Oxford is limited.

  Would not recommend!

  I stayed 2 nights in Lina Guest House. I was disappointed with almost all of my stay there. The photos do not reflect the reality. The good bits first. Free parking, out of town, but regular busses and bus stops close for access easy. comfy bed.... unfortunately, that's where the good bits stop.... Upon arrival, we were not greeted, but rather keys were given to us and we were told the room was upstairs. No information on local area, no information about wifi, time of breakfast, no offer of help with bags. The stairs are steep and plentiful no information is given about this prior to arrival. Those with mobility difficulties should be aware. In our room, the floorboards were extremely noisy, the heating was turned up to the temperature of a furnace on the first night but not on at all on the second night, so it felt like an ice box. The water pressure in the shower was non-existent and the choice of temperature in there was either set to that of lava or one which would give you frostbite. I'm not sure this is even safe, especially if someone had a child with them. The bathroom door didn't shut and would randomly swing open wide, leaving the person inside exposed. These are basic things which are just not acceptable. Breakfast is said to be continental, but it is poor and basic. A limited choice of cereal, no fruits, cheeses or meats. Toast and eggs is breakfast each day. Considering eggs is all they cook, you'd think they'd do a good job but our poached eggs were hard boiled! Over breakfast, the football was on loudly. This is the sort of thing you'd expect in a rowdy sports bar, not over breakfast! The dining area was cramped, they brought you one cup of tea or coffee, but milk was on a communal table! You had a limited choice of cereal and had to eat it with your coffee spoon. No sauces like ketchup or mustard. When we left, no-one said goodbye, how was your stay or anything else you'd usually expect. It seemed as though the staff are there to do the minimum and didn't care. I asked the lady at breakfast if she would mind taking my bowl (due to lack of space), which she snatched with a huff and walked off, leaving my partner sitting there still holding his bowl still. Very rude. Overall, definitely would not recommend.

  Wonderful!

  After a big night, the owner was kind enough to cater to our hangovers with fresh coffee and an amazing bubbly attitude. Thank you so much, would recommend to anyone staying Oxford wonderful location with the bus stop across the road and a lovely cafe on our doorstep.
