  Bad food ignorant people

  My family and I stayed at this hotel in September for two weeks (first 2 weeks). On arrival we thought it lovely, hotel, grounds, pools, beach, all amenities out standing. But there it ends, food is diabolical and the staff's attitude is the same. I have traveled all over the world and never have I come across such rude people. I need a gluten free diet and it was 8 days later when I got to talk to the chef ( we emailed tour operator we rang and talked to everyone we could at home and on site) he told me I could eat a certain meal even though it clearly said it had gluten in he told me to ignore that and listen to him, stupidly I did a few hours later I was ill. After that I lived on what I was eating for the previous 8 days, rice pudding for breakfast chips and bolognese sauce for dinner and any thing I could find for tea. Also you are in the middle of know where and have to get expensive taxie every where you want to go.

  Hotel Overall Good....Balkan Holidays...7 Hour Delay No Compensation Poor Service

  Good Points: Great facilities for kids including splash park. Hotel overall clean, rooms basic but clean. Plenty of sun-loungers especially at the pool near the beach. Very quiet and isolated from the hustle and bustle. Food is good and a wide variety, something for everyone. Entertainment at the amphitheater was good (depends on your idea of good) Bar service was good, no problem getting served most of the time and a good range of drinks and cocktails. Splash park has own seating area and bar with snacks such as pizza at mealtimes. Again clean and efficient, toilet area nearby is clean and modern. Splash park has flumes and slides for little ones up to adults. Bad Points: some staff seem not too keen on the Brits as my wife was ignored at the bar a few times despite making it clear that she was waiting to be served. NO INTERNET if this is important to you you will be lucky to get a signal even if you pay the hotel for in room WiFi. You can sometimes get a signal in the reception area if you karate chop the phones out of the numerous teenagers hands before they hoover up the available signal. Shops: on site shops only unless you get a taxi into "town" Prepare to pay over the odds as usual in theses circumstances. DO NOT buy electrical goods there, I stupidly bought a pair of £70 Dr Beats headphones only to find they were fake and didn`t work properly....yes I know, what do you expect in these places. Got my money back straight away when I pointed out they were fake! Room Safe: £90 to use the room safe - I kid you not, maybe the staff running a racket, I don`t know.....you have been warned. Overall very good apart from the above.

  Perfect location, service could improve

  Wonderfully located resort, a large sandy beach, large clean pools with heated water (aprox 25 degrees), enough sunbeds for everybody, a mini-town all together! What was maybe not so good were the services, it was lacking a person to supervise the food places so people must use the gloves provided by the hotel (with regards to all the covid19 situation). Food quality was average but various so someone not so picky (like myself) had no problems with it. Also the entertainment team was weak compared to other bulgarian resorts we have visited in the past. All in all, a good vacation in a very nice place but some of the things could improve!

  Lack of hospitality

  The facilities are ok but not so many stars as thay say...food is average. The rooms also average but not so clean. I have found insects in my son's bed during nights. Furniture is old, from opening probably. The staff was rude and arrogant, prepare yourself for no english or any other foreign languages, they ignore you from the start. Quite expensive for the services provided. Nice beach, old sunbeds. Old and rusty. Pools not so warm, the coldest was for the little children! The staff swiched off the lights in the restaurant with quests still eating lunch... and if you have any request from waiters they simply ignore you talking. Check out was a huge surprise, there was nobody to take our bags to the car, the receptionist just handled the key and ignored us. I DO NOT recommend at all.

  One of the best places in Bulgaria

  The room was quite big and comfortable. I was with 2 kids and this is important for me. The cleaning was perfect - every day and every day the towels were changed. The food was excellent. It was different each day. The hotel is quite close to the beach, just in 2 in minutes by walk. The beach is clean, the water was crystal. There are several large pools very close to the beach as well. The entertainment program was the best in Bulgarian in my experience. There were different show programs each day. Things I don't like: - The staff at the reception was rude. - Sunbeds reservations - even it's described that it's forbidden, nobody was removing the towels from the sunbeds and there were reserved plenty of them but not used for whole day.
