  Convenient Place to access Galle road - Value for money

  I stayed 2 nights there with family. Hotel seems to be not maintained properly. Furniture are old and dusty. Some electronics in the room may not work some times. Bath rooms have odd smell. No car park. vehicles will be parked in the lane. Hotel rates are reasonable for it's offering. easy access to Gall road. You can find the restaurant at the ground floor which the food is great compared to other places nearby and prices are also reasonable. Hotel staff is very friendly and willing to help. This hotel can be improved with very little effort.

  One of the worst.

  We stayed in this hotel for 14 nights and honestly it deserves the 1 star displayed at it's Front Desk. The customer service was terrible, right from the get - go. Even after complaints made, no service recovery and their apologies were so empty and superficial; actually getting nothing fixed or sorted out. The room itself was clearly not maintained, the AC always leaking and making loud disturbing noises. The bathroom was poor, worse than my own at home. it also had a damp/old odor to it. Room Service and Housekeeping very inconsistent. The WiFi was exceedingly poor. at times there was no signal at all. Frequent power cuts and TV channels not functioning. The food was not bad, since it came from the restaurant downstairs but too much of their food will keep u on the toilet frequently. The only advantage was the proximity with Galle Road and the beach side. I wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here more than 5 days especially if you are with family or a partner.

  Good food a

  We had breaksfast and lunch in the restaurant for more than 2 weeks at the Omega Hotel and we always enjoy it. They have good variety and Cook it on the range of Spice that you want. Good choice for very reasonable price.

  ALL IN ALL, I ENJOYED MY TEN-NIGHT STAY.

  I booked the room at Omega Regency Hotel for me and my daughter for ten nights from Dec 9 thru 19, 2017. Since her company provided her with a nice apartment room nearby, she only came for breakfast, which is fairly good. The 24-square-meter Room 306, where I stayed, has recently been renovated and has a nice street view, a spacious bathroom, an armchair, a desk chair, and a big brand new clothes closet which I really love. The biggest room with a king-sized bed for two I have ever stayed in in my life! A lot of shops and mini markets and a big super market nextdoor, Arpico. So, I woul d say it was relatively good value for money. The downsides are : 1. the tv sucks. So, count it out , 2. the wifi is a fiasco, 3. the employees are nice but unmotivated, overworked, and maybe underpaid as well, 4. they insisted on my paying cash in LKR, I had to go to a money changer for it the day after next (Monday), they asked me to pay the 97% of the total cost with a receipt that day , and the remaining, fishy 3% without a receipt when I checked out.

  Old type hotel... good for the price.

  An old hotel, very well kept. More like a business hotel. Staff is very helpful. Location is wonderful. Near the beach and in the main city life line. Food is not so good, but then there are many other joints near by. Will use again
