  The USP of this Hotel is its staff at the front office. The room was on first floor and was very neat and clean, good upholstery, linen and other amenities. As it is far away from road it has a serene atmosphere. Its an excellent place to stay if travelling in a group. Breakfast which is included in the room fare is basic, simple and good. One need to take help of the girls at front office to call taxi etc as it is far from maddening crowd.

  Could not be more helpful

  This hotel is exactly what it looks like - moderately priced good value place to stay and about 1.5 km from the centre but when I had a travel problem the staff could not have been more obliging and helpful including being flexible about my booking as plans had to keep changing. I can't rate them highly enough.

  Surprise.... I was really surprised...very nice area... from outside something not very attractive, but inside everything good, clean, clear.... people- friendly, very worm and very nice, they are always with you with smile if you need something......even after almost one months I have been there, I asked them by email to help me... the answer I got immediately.. internet free and very good .. kitchen- very good, everything was fresh ... and price? realy good... So, if I will go to Skopje again, I already know very well, where I will stay.. I'm very thankful to all girls on the reception desk..

  Excellent Stay!

  Great hotel with all the things needed for a successful visit to Skopje. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The cafe provided a great breakfast that was included in the price. I look forward to my next visit!

  DEPENDS ON WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING FOR!

  Hmmm..not sure where to go with this! Hotel Porta is not really close to the center of town, but it is very quiet there! The rooms are very small and the air conditioning not terribly effective. The bathrooms are small and there are tiny ,tiny towels. I've only seem rooms with twin beds, even when I've asked for a double. It's hard to find. Now..all that being said, it is quiet, clean, and the front desk folks are friendly and helpful. It works. It's fine. It depends on what you are looking for!
