  this is the most disgusting hotel I have ever stayed at. It's basically a european youth hostel from the 90s. Yes the pics of the lobby are great, but once you get into the hotel it is disgusting. The walls and doors are filthy, I mean really dirty. The carpet through out is gross. Each room has a plastic covered light over the door that was full of dead bugs. Our 1st room smelled of smoke and sweat. there is no lake view unless you get on top of the building. The images are misleading. this place looks like is should be condemned. do not stay here!

  Deceptive Pics

  The outside of this location didnt look updated. The lobby, bar and restaurant got updates. The hall ways looked aged and still beat up from years or use. Scuffed walls, chipped door jams and old doors. Inside the room had slight updates like laminated floors, but still had chipped popcorn ceilings with old furniture. Definitely a different experience than the pics on the website indicate, especially for the price.

  One of the worst experiences with a hotel...

  Where to start... while checking in I requested a late checkout at 1:00pm one cashier said wed have to pay extra but was corrected by the one next to him (thank god she was there). Got to our room and found toilet paper and urine in the toilet, but didnt want to get a maid in trouble. Reserved a king room for my wife and I and received a double queen, called the office to complain but the same person who almost over charged said he would ask his manager. After 2 hours I called again to try and get a king room, he asked if we used anything in the room (we were there for 2 hours so obviously we did) after telling him we had used the restroom he told us that they had accidentally over booked the hotel. We were offered no refunds or accommodations. Will never go back here, poorly run, graffiti in the hallways. Right next to the courthouse too, so expect early risers. Restaurant was very good though!

  Mediocre Mid Range Hotel

  I stayed here for an event I was attending within the hotel. It is quite an old hotel, that has had some minor updating done to "spruce it up" but could use quite a bit more. There are small dark elevators, strangely placed in the building and tight winding staircases that made me vaguely claustrophobic. The event space was fantastic and nice, but the rooms were....meh. I was offered a discount on our room because our TV didn't work (they warned me upon check in), however it also appeared that someone had been in our room for a while. The soap was missing in the bathroom as was a whole set of towels. The beds were okay but nothing to write home about. Next time I am in town for an event I will be staying elsewhere

  Hotel RL has gone way downhill

  It is sad how bad this property has become. It used to be a decent hotel, but lack of upgrades and generally poor clientele has made this place a no go. We live in town and stayed there during a remodel. There were creepy people hanging in the hall ways, other guests partying all night long (on a week night) and smoking weed and cigarettes in their rooms (which waif under the gaps under the doors). This hotel needs a full upgrade and change of management.
