  This place works so hard at being the best it can be

  Weve been here for a week during the school half term break. We knew this was a 3 Star resort and it had good reviews so we booked. We have been to 5 Star all-inclusive resorts in the Caribbean and the Sahara Su Holiday Village doesnt pretend to be anywhere near as luxurious as those resorts. However what it does do is try really hard to be the very best that it can be. Its a fantastic little resort with some amazing staff. We have had a great relaxing holiday and we would definitely return. This hotel out does itself and for that I will give it a three and a half stars. Not quite 4 Stars but it could be with a little more investment. Anyone thinking about booking this hotel should do so in the knowledge that they will have a great holiday!

  Bang average - end of season meant end of service

  Arrived at the hotel late and night and felt like a nuisance to the two staff who were around to check us in. We paid for a deluxe swim up bungalow but the room was rather disappointing. There was one small light that was the main light for the room so we always had this and two other lamps on to see when it got dark and even then it was still dark. The room itself was well worn with chips in all the furniture. Damp lampshades, paint on the floor and the bathroom lock kept sticking meaning you could be locked in the bathroom! The food was lukewarm each day and with very little rotation over a week. As it was coming to the end of season it felt very much like staff just couldnt wait to be finished and there for you didnt get the service you paid for. Myself and a few other guests were unwell during our stay which we believe could be the lukewarm food. Some food that wasnt eaten at breakfast we cleaned down and reserved at night! The snack bar was a saviour but even then there were flys over all the pizza ingredients and they seemed to only open or staff when they felt like it. Cats come and go in the restaurant through out the day and the staff allow it. I didnt personally mind until one of the cats went for my hand one evening when I reached for my drink. No sort of evening entertainment at all unless you mean 1 hour of bingo a week. WIFI only in reception and no where else. The only thing that really kept us at the hotel was the lovely pools and the cocktails. A few days before our last day we had a pleasant surprise of the house cleaning had bleached some of our clothing by accident. When I went to reception to report it I was told well why dont you complain if you are unhappy instead of telling me now which is mad considering... I was complaining. The gentlemen just took images of the clothing and sent them to the manager. This was then picked up a day later to a reply of our maids dont use any strong cleaning products or anything with bleach. Once I had argued this they agreed it wasnt okay and the manager sorted this for us. But housekeeping that dont use strong cleaner or Bleach in pure white bathrooms or hotel rooms is utter rubbish... I certainly would like to hope that rooms that 100s of people had stayed in have had a strong clean before I then stay! Bed wasnt changed during the week even when our sheet was stripped from the bed after my partner had cut himself and it had gotten damp from a towel. Housekeeping simply put it back on ... everyday we took it off P.s dont do the air gun... fairly certain the oversized sand pit it is played in is a giant cat litter tray. We enjoyed the area and will definitely come back to turkey but wouldnt return to Sarah Su

  BE AWARE this hotel is down a dirt track in order to go out you need to walk 20 minutes then cross a busy main road to get the bus or u need taxi every day to go out. The hotel is based in the middle of mountainous views which are lovely. However there is absolutely nothing to do there but sit by the pool or play table tennis. The food was apauling and the drinks were not drinkable. We paid for all inclusive and went out every day to eat. The food is repeated every day and the quality was disgusting. The dining hall was a school canteen if that. There was nothing fresh. The rooms basic but clean in need of remodernisation. Rusty door handles. Doors patched up with chip board. Chips in furniture. Some top rooms smelly with sewarge smell. We had to move to another room. The staff and people lovely. THE HOTEL FOOD AND DRINK WAS THE WORSE I have had to date. Hotel in very remote area. I won't be going back and considering all the above including the fact you can only get Wi-Fi in the reception area no where else, this is no more than a 2 to 3 star hotel.

  Great Holiday

  Visited Sahra Su in October 2019. We booked a swim up pool and it was amazing! Literally on our door step! Room was clean and functional. Gardens and the complex was all kept to a very high standard. The main pool and other pool areas looked nice and clean, however we stayed around the pool area outside of our bungalow. Weather was fantastic, views amazing. The hotel is off the beaten track. We hired a car and had our own adventure driving from the airport!!! Getting into Oludeniz and Hisonaru is easy and calling taxis to the resort is simple due to an intercom button at the entrance. Food and drink were both fine. Lots of choice and freshly cooked daily. We chose to eat out a couple of times as hotel food does become "samey" wherever you go. Snack bar cooked fresh burgers and pizzas (again don't expect Mac D's or Dominos!) which were tasty and filled a gap during the afternoon. Don't expect a full program of entertainment (they do try hard, but its not Butlins!) Staff were all friendly, Ozzy is a bit pushy but he is a salesman trying to sell you stuff you don't really want! All in all I would definitely recommend Sahra Su, and we are looking to return this year!

  Terrible rooms, rude staff, lied and denied accident happened

  I cant describe how bad this hotel is, I had a serious accident when I slipped on wet tiles, I had an operation in Turkey then one back home in England. The hotel completely denied any accident had happened even though an ambulance was called and staff were present. Please avoid at all costs!!!!
