Taiwan TourWe stayed in this hotel during our Taiwan tour. This is a small hotel with small lobby area. Front desk staff are courteous and very helpful. The room was clean and spacious. Small work desk with free wifi and cat 5 connection. Small closet with only 4 hangers! Breakfast was adequate.

Loft hotelThere are hotels check in time on 1pm or 2pm. This one check in time is on 3pm. I arrived early and asked if I could have early check in. I was made to loiter around or sit in lobby waiting, they are not in wrong anyway. I have been given upgraded for bigger room. It is big and clean and wow. Mattress and pillow are comfortable. Breakfast is simple but nice. Lots of Taiwanese snack and food outside within walking distance. Convenience stores around hotel. I don't like go to the one right beside the hotel at night time. It's first time for me in Taiwan to feel their service is not good. Teochew porridge restaurant beside hotel. I was told their food is very nice but I haven't tried it. Nearest shopping mall is about 20mins walking.

Facilities are good, and the rooms are quite spacious. Our Taiwan tour starts and ends at this hotel in New Taipei City. The accommodations and facilities are quite good and there is a 7 Eleven next door for your snacks or quick meals. The restaurant also has a restaurant as well. But I say every night, walk a few blocks and you can find night markets and eateries nearby. The breakfast is more local cuisine and the staff is only too eager to collect the voucher from you so you can eat there. If you want more western breakfast, this will not be the place. For us, its more than adequate for variety and since we are in Taiwan, we do not need to eat western food as this is our opportunity to sample local food. If you walk further down the road, Costco is nearby too. Location wise, its not convenient to an MRT station and it can be noisy if you face the elevated highway which was our case both times. Ear plugs are a must. Free complimentary water, a mini fridge to use and spacious counter are fabulous. In room safe was convenient too. There were two closets in our room, one at the entrance, one at the end near the bathroom. The lighting is dimmer throughout the hotel, but its maintained well for carpet and furniture. As this is a more Japanese styled room, There is a glass wall that faces the room to the bathroom. There is a huge floor to ceiling curtain to pull for privacy. A large shower stall featuring overhead faucet and a hand wand is a great feature, although keeping water in the stall is a challenge. The large, white soaker tub is a nice luxury touch too. The bathroom sink is like a miniature bath tub shape and looks modern. Standard Taiwanese toiletries include: razor, toothbrush/toothpaste, combs, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and slippers included. If I was ever on a budget, and do not mind walking far, I may stay here again on my own as the pricing offered great value here. The lobby is small, but there is a small dining area off to the side too if you want to use it to eat your 7 Eleven meals. I had no problem with the staff for language however, maybe English could be a challenge for certain staff members.

Good Value for MoneyI stayed in the hotel for 2 weeks for business visit. Rooms are good quality and spacious. Front desk staff is friendly and helpful. Thanks. There is a convenient store just next to the hotel and lot of food stores in walking distance. If you want to use MRT, the Jingan MRT station is around 3.4 km away (Around 120-130 NTD by taxi) The place is very near the company I visited and was a good choice. Will stay in my next visit as well.

Nice but slight strange odor in bathroomThis hotel was very nice for the price. It was a trendy nice place and a surprise for the cost. Hotel was clean and great service. Breakfast was good, fair selection. Shower was HUGE. Only complaint was a slight smell in the Water Closet.
