  Entorno agradable

  Limpio, desayuno decente. La chica de recepción GENIAL.Queríamos visitar Florencia y no teníamos compradas las entradas a los museos y ella hizo varias gestiones para conseguirlas asi como para indicarnos los horarios de tren.El entorno es muy agradable con unos "pequeños jardines". La habitación superior un poco pequeña para ser superior pero estaba bien.

  Don t go there

  Rooms are nice and clean but food is too bad. I never taste that so bad food it had ice in it. We payed 13$ for litterly nothing and no one of us 40 didn t want to eat. My advice is don t go there. I was there on April 2017.

  Beautiful on the outside but poor on the inside

  The hotel is wonderful, the garden, the view, very romantic and colourful... But, when we entered the room, there were only tiles on the floor, no carpet, nothing, so it was pretty cold walking around the room. Also, there was an aircondition but no remote control, so if we wanted to turn it on, we simply couldn't have... Furthermore, there were three lamps in the room and only one was in function, there were no glasses etc. One morning, around 7 o'clock, which was the time of our preparing for breakfast and leaving the hotel for going sightseeing, the water was completely gone... Some of the guests didn't manage to finish the morning hygiene rituals. The breakfast was badly organized because only one waiter was there and we were group od 50 people. There wasn't enough salame, cheese and bread... He had to refill the plates several times because he wasn't organized as he was supposed to considering the fact that he had 50 people in the hotel...

  Wouldnt stay again

  We stayed for 2 nights and I have to say I was happy to leave. Would agree with other comments and say that the outside areas were really nice and the pool area was really good as it is really quite and relaxing, however there is no one there if you want any water or any other drink, nothing is served at day time, its hard to even find any staff at day time. We wanted to have lunch there and been told to go to town because kitchen is closed. I guess thats fair enough if they dont serve lunch but I think guests should be able to buy at least drinks at day time, especially as the hotel is no where near any shops. Staff just did not seem bothered at all, didnt make us feel welcome at check in and throughout the stay. Breakfast was quite bad too, as it was just two of us and we are not breakfast people we were not too bothered but I cant imagine family holiday in this hotel for someone with children, there is nothing decent to eat, they had mixed different types of cereal it was really odd.

  Wonderful location, No written information

  Rooms were clean but old. We had two Rooms. In one the cooler didn't work, in the other there was something wrong with the lights. Coffe was good, breakfast was not fresh - some times the cheesslices was hard and from the day before. The bread as well. Staff was nice, but owner did not speek or understand english, and at one point he was yelling in italian, at a guest. He was the first contact in the reception. Only written information was some notes in the elevator (ser picture). No information about the meny, or where to find the bar (it was not existing) or why the pool one sunday was occupied by italian guests that not stayed at the hotel. Montecatini Terme is a nice town, central to trips in Toscany, but don't stay at Villa Maria. Maybe it will be a better experience if you are italian, and have a lot of patience, but we recommend you to stay at another hotel.
