    Nice Chinese Styled Business Hotel

Stayed in the Bliss on Business in Wehai. It is a nice hotel with a very friendly and helpful staff. The décor in the lobby is a little dimly lighted with big wood carved chairs and figures filling the lobby. The room was fairly large and comfortable again in a simple Chinese décor. The bed was comfortable not like sleeping on plywood in hotels I have slept in while in China. The breakfast and wifi was included and both work just fine... If going for the seaside it is a little away and you might consider a hotel closer to the beach. But if your there for business and the hotel is close to where you need to be it is a good place to stay....

    Nice hotel good price

It is a nice 5 star hotel. The price was very good and I got a free upgrade. It is very clean. It is all in Chinese however it is a very good choise in Weihai. Internet is very slow and the staff does not speak good English although the are extrimely helpful and very polite.

Nothing especially good or especially bad

Stayed here for one night with breakfast ahead of a business meeting. Arrived late afternoon and had a couple of hours before dinner to enjoy the internet. Which kind of worked - though it was a bit slow. Slept well after a meal away from the hotel, then had breakfast in the large restaurant. Decent service: the freshly-prepared omelette was good, but fresh juice would have been better than the sugary drink they provided. In summary, a decent, but unmemorable hotel close to the coast and a couple of big employers in WeiHai.

Good but not fantastic. Appearances can be deceptive

Have never stayed, but have eaten several times and did again in October. Good Chinese food no problem (and the Burgers are excellent as well). The hotel (maybe it's just my timing) always seems empty and very quiet. Anyone I have spoken to who has eaten there or stayed says the same. There isn't anything outside worth walking to either. It's a way from 'Downtown' Weihai - although you could take a taxi in about 20-25 minutes. So a bit out on a limb and other, less grand, are much more convenient. It isn't bad at all but just feels a bit of a 'morgue' ! If I had to stay here for whatever reason I would and it wouldn't bother me at all and I understand rooms are very good. But I think for any length of stay I'd be bored. WiFi is very slow but that is normal in most parts of China except the very south in Guangdong. English is spoken, better than previous years, but not as well as other 'mainstream' hotels. That seems a bit picky to be fair as I don't speak Chinese !!

    Reasonable

I have now actually stayed here but I think I simply swapped one average/boring hotel for another ! It's not bad - it's just OK. Rooms are good & comfortable, buffet breakfast was actually OK (I normally avoid it but here I managed to get an omelette and reasonable coffee). Staff were very helpful even with limited English (and my lack of Chinese). But staff outside (security I think) will shout etc etc very LOUDLY at night, early morning etc and that is very disturbing. They obviously don't care that people are trying to sleep. But it is like a morgue. Bar (if you can call it that) and restaurants close early and there is nothing to do. I got into a taxi and went to the Black Sun bar - at least there was life there. Would I stay again ? If I had to I wouldn't worry. But I am now tempted to test out the Qilu Luxury Blue Horizon next to the downtown Wego Plaza. I have now eaten there and it was good. There isn't a lounge etc but at least you can walk to a few places - even the Center hotel opposite if the Havana club is open and not booked for a party.
