  Budget hotel in Puerto Princesa. Pros: convenient location, low price, cozy patio for breakfast. Cons: small rooms, extra fee for towels and toiletries, noise from nearby construction. Good for 1-2 nights.

  Clean hotel , good location, helpful staff,

  We took a double room . Aircon or fan .Hot water shower, Tv, Wardrobe and desk. Room is good size , comfortable bed and very clean . Staff are friendly and helpful. All day breakfast is available. Towels are extra cost . Located near both the Port, market , supermarket and easy to get to travel futher via jeepney routes .

  We stayed at the Xtravelers for 5 nights and it is a nice place. Its simple but clean and nice. The staff is very helpful and service minded. The breakfast was nice to. Nothing special but you get full. The room has a AC that works and are necessary. The shower isnt the best because there is no power in the water so it takes som time to get the shampoo out of the hair. The beds are a little bit hard. But overall the place is really good and I would recommend it.

  Dishonest staff

  We arrived at 9 pm asking for a room. They doubled the price from $14 to $28 instantly. I mentioned that we could book online with booking.com for $14 Canadian. Staff advised us to book online then. While booking on line staff got on the phone and called a contact to block the room. So..when trying to book it...it got blocked. I told her I could not book online ...then she said:"there is room but at $28". My husband went to see the room which looks better on pictures..it has thin cardboard walls and is definitely not worth the doubled price. We were very upset and walked out. Luckily we found a much better place around the corner with a rooftop. What they did was rude! I mentioned that I would put this on trip advisor and she said "I don't care". So much for gouging tourists.

  Non existing hotel since December 2019

  I booked and prepaid this hotel with hotels.com fo 16 December 2019 ( 2 nights) after getting a "secret offer". There is two hotel in the city with the same name. I mailed hotels.com and this hotel 1 week before, afraid of that this hotel on the address: 78 Roxas street, Baranguay Kalipay, Puerto Princesa, 5300 PH was not active. The hotels.com and me tried to reach the hotel but didn't succeed. The day of the check in at 14, the hotel was closed on my arrival, I booked a new hotel on the spot with all my luggage in my hand and standing on the street. See my picture. The worst of all the hotels.com don't take responsible of not delivering the service or a refund even though i did my booking through them and give them heads up, 6 days before check in. This hotel is a scam and I also recommend not to book with hotels.com. They don't take responsible of that the service will be delivered or not.
