  bueno, bonito y barato

  Yali Hotel es muy comodo, limpio, bien ubicado dentro del casco antiguo, frente al mar se puede nadar en ese mar turquesa. Muy buena relacion calidad-precio. Fuimos en Junio. Quizas en temporada alta el lugar este repleto aunque si te gusta es perfecto, buen desayuno, muy buena atencion. En el casco antiguo de Side no se puede manejar pero dejan entrar con el auto para dejar las valijas. Luego hay que llevarlo a un parquing que sale unos 3 Eu por dia si mal no recuerdo.

  Overpriced.

  This hotel has the best possible view in Side, you are practically in the sea! We have been going to Side for 20 years and always wanted to stay there but thought it very expensive but as we were in the area thought we would stop for 2 nights, the chap who was there to check us in and do breakfast and probably clean the room also , was friendly but the overall appearance of the hotel needs a serious make over to justify it's charges it just seemed tatty and lacking in any atmosphere which is a great shame, the room was small and basic and I actually paid to upgrade to a superior room but don't think I got one, I was shown round a room last year and it was a lot better furnished than the one we were in and it had a wrap around balcony I didn't say anything as only there 2 nights and was out most of the time visiting friends. We will not return and will stick with the elit Koseoglu a few yards from the yali (see seperatly review)

  Great location.

  Nice cozy hotel to spend weekend. All the rooms has sea view and the location is super in middle of the antik Side. I must say the stuff was very friendly and helpful. Best thing is the small pool area and the possibility to go straight to sea. Defiantly going back soon again.

  Great location in Antik Side

  The location is perfect! Yali Hotel is in the heart of Antik Side which includes a fenomenal beach, shops, bars, restaurants and ancient ruins of the Temple of Apollo. Please note that cars are not allowed! You will have to park your vehicle in a common lot before entering Antik Side. Every room in Yal hotel has amazing views, and there is easy access to a private beach/cove. The water is clear and it's great for snorkeling and adventurous swimmers. The public beach is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and is suitable for all swimmers due to shallow water and no rock formations jutting out into the water. Yal Hotel advertises a pool, but beware! The pool is permanently closed due to a problem with the municipality.   The rooms are very basic. The room and bathroom were clean, the towels were well worn, and the room was quite cramped. Yali Hotel advertises a minibar in every room, but our minifridge was empty when we arrived. Please note that you may be charged 7 for each day you use the air conditioner and 9 for each day you wish to use the safe in your room! There is WiFi, but it only worked in the corner of our room closest to the hotel reception area. I suppose it's intended for shared areas like the bar and restaurant.  There is complementary breakfast, but we didn't wake up early enough to take advantage as breakfast is served 8:30-10:00.

  Best Location in Antik Side

  We stayed here as a late booking owing to a mix up with another hotel. On the booking site it looks lovely, its not. There is NO pool on site which was a reason for booking, the breakfast whilst standard Turkish fare had no juice, water, cereals or yoghurt available and most days not enough coffee. We had a deluxe room on top floor which was nice, fantastic views over the bay, its basic but suitable. Housekeeping is at best described as random, our room was not cleaned well, bin emptied but that was it. Minibar was an empty fridge which was not plugged in. On fifth day we were informed of 7euro daily charge for aircon which was advertised as included, refused to pay. WiFi is 4euro a day which is unacceptable as everywhere including on the beach was free, we used WiFi when out and about and didnt bother with hotel. I dont think any of the travel companies advertising this hotel can have been to see it, it is dated, in need of update and better overall value given costs. They have a policy of not allowing any food/drink into room from outside which given they supply neither we ignored. It is a shame as possibly one of the best locations in area, Beach House, Lale Park and Leda Hotel worth considering instead. We have been going to Side for over 12yrs and wanted a base in the old town as spend most time there with friends.
