Number 1 Kids Unfriendly Hotel in GermanyWe are a family of 4 kids and we booked 2 rooms, each with an extra kids bed. After the 1st night the hotel pulled the extra bed out of our room just leaving the mattress so our daughter should sleep on the mattress on the floor. This is without contacting us. Totally unacceptable and rude. Never go there with kids. Unacceptable!

Awful customer serviceWhen arriving at the hotel with our family of six, the hotel had made the mistake not booking the second take away bed for the second family room. However, then the receptionist provided us with one. The second night we arrived late after dinner, we were caught by surprise that one pull away bed was moved out of the room. Left alone was the mattress on the floor. When inquiring about the missing second roll away bed, the receptionist admitted that staff had been talking about this in the morning. Turned out it was brought into another hotel room of guests where the booking was correctly confirmed. Only after long discussion they offered us a third guest room for my husband. Honestly, we are still in shock regarding the dysfunctional crisis management of this hotel. We feel like second guests where they thought we would only comply but not say anything. The whole point is that mistakes can happen but then you have to act upon it. We would have expected a phone call or message that the bed was needed but they can offer us a third guest room. Come on this is why we book a hotel: to sleep in a bed and not do camping on the floor. Next morning they gave us bad looks and attitude at check out. Our advice is: Do not ever book this hotel .

Unique scandinavian-style hotelI've stayed here for one night during a business trip. The rooms are kept in a typical scandinavian style with wood panels all over the room giving this hotel a truly unique character. Everything was clean, the room itself had a decent size and the breakfast was superb. The same is true for the very helpful and friendly staff. The only downside is that public transport is non-existing after 8pm in the evening, but I suppose most guests arrive by car. I can definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a unique and well-run place east of Munich.

Good hotel, but service to review / improveNew hotel, nordic style, clean. But service has to improve. Wrong room assignment, long 10mn for checkout, have to ask for eggs at breakfast as no one checking what was left,...and a bit expensive (184euros)..and when we told on the errors of bookings , the Reception manager argued it was our fault.. So good hotel, not very cheap , service to improve

An Alternative to Expensive Downtown Lodgings in MunichThe Skandinavian-type hotel built of wood is situated on the outskirts of Munich but offers relatively fast access to downtown via the close-by A 94 motorway. The wooden planks on the outside of the building do not make it look very attractive but this impression is not verified inside. Parking next to the hotel is free. Reception at the hotel was friendly. We were given a basically furnished room (cf. nightstands) with bright wooden furniture on an upper floor as requested. While the view through the window was rather bleak the room itself was very clean and offered the amenities expected of a 3-star hotel. As the Bader boasts to be 4-star we were looking for a fridge in vain, however. The bathroom was nicely furnished and even offered enough space for laying down cosmetic articles a feature often missed in hotels. There were plenty of TV programs. Login to the free Wi-Fi was a bit tricky as there were plenty of security warnings. The best thing about breakfast were the traditional white veal sausages (Weisswuerste) but the other food was OK, too. The hotel can be recommended the more so as the price-performance-ratio is reasonable.
