  Still very good

  Revisited Maria Rousse after 13 years and we were not disappointed. The family are still very friendly and will do anything to make your stay what you want it to be. Room are a reasonable size and our room had great views of the sea and new pool area. The food is also of a good standard with a good size breakfast costing 4. Very good location turn left for strip and the many night clubs. Turn right and you are in the wonderful village with fantastic restaurants. Would highly recommend this hotel, George, Barbara the air conditioning control unit is in the post, sorry I forgot to hand it in.

  Maria revas hotel

  Had a very bad exsperience at this hotel.got dropped off at the wrong place at 3 in the morning to start with ,then had to get a taxi to take us there .no drinks and snacks and food was provided due in our stay,very rude,not helpful or friendly and very exspensive around this part .would never go back.

  Promises more than it delivers

  Described elsewhere as a boutique hotel but it is a rather dated hotel needing a bit of TLC. Our room was large but had a smell of stale water probably from the bathroom, the shower screen was not flush to the bath and every morning water from the shower found its way into the gap. Room service was not regular and not very thorough there were a number of cobwebs on the ceiling. The buffet breakfast was a bit hit and miss the first couple of days of our holiday there was limited selection of cheese and cold meets and cereals and hot food of frankfurters, eggs and what was described as bacon. The selection improved when a few more guests arrived.For most of the week we were the only diners in restaurant for evening meal the choice was even more limited almost a take it or leave it choice and for some reason regularly the main course arrived before we had finished our salad starter and the side of either grilled veg or french fries arrived when we had almost finished our main and the dessert was a choice of melon or watermelon one day we were offered fruit which appeared on the breakfast buffet the next morning! Some of the photos are misleading as there is no cafe or bar next to the pool so no drinks available poolside! Although we did discover bottle of wine bought in the supermarket was a third of the price of same bottle listed at hotel! Vicinity is good a few minutes walk to beach, a few minutes walk to bus stops and supermarkets just along the road, even a COSTA COFFE two minutes walk away. In Summary a dated hotel needing some TLC a place which promises much more than it delivers.

  Worst hotel ever

  The worst experience of my life in a hotel, we arrived the first day and the door of the room was broken, let me know at the reception and ask me if it was my fault or it was like that, I replied that it was like that (they repaired it in 5 minutes, just They adjusted it with 2 screws) on the third day they call me from the reception and tell me that the fault was mine and that I have to pay the door, I told them they are crazy, the door was broken. I thought they understood, but at the time of check out, they told me that I have to pay the door and that it is 150 euros, I repeated that I was like that and I would not pay anything, they threatened to call the police if I did not pay, which I answered call them because I will not pay, it was like that (later I regretted it, because those who work at the hotel looked like gangsters and I thought the police they called could be corrupt, but I had already said yes, so i just wait). When the police arrived, there were three, they blocked the exit of my car and they were a bit rude to me at the beginning, we started talking we went to the room they checked the door, they talked to each other, one is returned and he tells me you have nothing to worry about , they wanted to take advantage of you. The police talked to the hotel in Bulgarian and they were very angry, the police unlock my car and I could. I will never comeback even near to that hotel, and belive me don't go to that hotel.

  Would recommend

  We had a pleasant 4 days at Maria Revas. The reason we choose was the price/quality evaluation that we felt was one of the best in sunny beach. Mainly it did not disappointed: the room was big, clean with everything that is needed, a nice balcony where you could see the pool from and also the sea, far way. We had a parking place and it was also close to the beach. The 2 things that should be improved is the fact that the room was not daily cleaned, actually it was only cleaned once, after we requested. I would also improve the shower by adding a cabin or glass not to have a lot of wetness every time you shower, around it.
