Lovely stay during "social distancing" timeLovely stay. The bed is comfy, room is nice. Food is fantastically great, I couldn't resist for a full three courses meal. Stayed for 2 nights, and they remembered my preference. Nothing else could be participated besides the room and restaurant. But I would love to come back after the corona-virus time for a proper visit.

Wonderful Room and View!I booked a stay from 9/19 to 9/21 through FHR, and I was very pleased to see that all of my FHR benefits were honored. My deluxe room was upgraded to a deluxe suite, which is so pleasantly spacious and elegantly decorated. The bed is incredibly comfortable and there was turndown service. I had perfect sleep. FHR919921FHRturn down The service was satisfactory, although there was nothing extra either. The staff are polite but would not greet you first when they see you. One thing that was a bit disappointing was that I never quite managed to find the concierge. The front desk agent said that the concierge is located near the entrance but there was no one there every time I passed by. If this were just some random hotel then I wouldve been fine with it, but I think it falls short of my expectations for a Four Seasons hotel, which is known for service covering every aspect and the ability to arrange anything. How are you gonna do that without a concierge? I had dinner at both onsite restaurants, Jin House and Cielo, which offered delicious food. I especially liked the braised pork belly with fresh abalone and "wok-fried beef tenderloin with scallion and garlic in black pepper sauce" at the Jin House, and the "tuna tartare" at Cielo. However, one thing I would mention is that, while Cielo explicitly said to me that hotel guests are entitled to a 15% discount off the food bill, Jin House did not seem to offer this even though they should have, according to the waiter at Cielo. CieloCieloCielo15%Cielo The location is perfect. This hotel is right in the center of the business district, surrounded by numerous malls and close to major tourist attractions. You can enjoy the convenience of the city in the day and a beautiful view of the city at night.

Disappointing brunch with poor customer serviceThis is not based on a hotel stay. It is based on a recent visit for brunch. I think disappointing things happen but it is how a hotel deals with the issue that makes a difference. I gave the hotel a chance to respond which they did not. I was immensely disappointed with my experience at Cielo on Saturday 20 February. 1. When my friend made the booking we were not told that Saturday would be regular lunch because the hotel treated it as a working day . Furthermore, theres nothing in their website that stipulates brunch would always make for lunch on work day Saturdays. In fact, we even bought the brunch vouchers. There is a big difference in the quality and variety of food on offer at regular lunch and brunch. 2. I came all the way from Hebei just for brunch because Tianjin is more open than Beijing nowadays. 3. The one nice thing was that the supervisor - a very kind lady - upon my inquiry about free flow packages , said I could have a bottle of sparkling to go with my lunch. This did not benefit my friend who does not drink. However: A tip - warm sparkling wine should never be served. Overall, not the experience I was hoping for when I decided to come to Four seasons.

Typical Four Seasons excellenceMy 3-night stay at this beautiful hotel was memorable, for its convenient location above a shopping mall and metro station, indoor heated swimming pool, well-equipped gym and friendly and helpful staff. I didn't bother taking a taxi from the airport, as the metro connects directly to the hotel (change trains at Tianjin Station), which is fast, cheap and efficient. The hotel is approached via a grand elevated tree-lined driveway, leading to a grand marbled lobby in earth tones and with a colossal crystal chandelier overhead. Feels like you have truly arrived! My Premier Suite on the 20th floor offered panoramic views in 2 directions over the city to the river in the distance, and was spectacular at night. Although the temperature outside was at 5 degrees (and much lower overnight), the hotel was well-heated throughout. I was pleasantly surprised at how reasonably priced the suites at this, a Four Sesason Hotel, were, at under RMB 2,000 per night. A similar suite in Beijing or Shanghai would have easily cost twice as much, or even more. I slept soundly in a cloud-like bed, while the bathroom was a pleasure to visit thanks to its heated marble floor. Wi-fi was free and fast, while the shower pressure was strong and consistent in volume and temperature. It was especially convenient to walk to the attached shopping mall, with the Isetan department store as its anchor tenant, offering a basement food hall with numerous dining options. I ordered Room Service once, but regret missing the opportunity to try the Chinese restaurant, which my friends told me was very good. The breakfast buffet on the 9th floor was the usual 5-star Asian standard, meaning it offered everything you could possibly want, and more. Lovely presentation and fresh ingredients. Staff even remembered my requests after only 1 day. There were plenty of bicycles for rent via the Meituan app in front of the hotel, and exploring Tianjin's beautiful streets, replete with colonial architecture, was a highlight of my visit. Many thanks to the wonderful staff for such a magnificent experience.
