  Fantastic staycation stay

  We popped over from Alderney for a couple of nights at La Barbarie having heard good reviews - and Im so glad we did!! I was last at La Barbarie about 25 years ago, and had very strong memories of a dark, dingy pub and restaurant with loads of dark wood! It was unrecognisable. The refurb is superb, done really sympathetically and thoughtfully but making everywhere inside light, bright and a thoroughly pleasant place to be. The one thing I have to note is the staff. You get so used to mediocre staff who seem to be going through the motions. Without fail, every member of staff we came across at La Barbarie was brilliant - eager to help, warm and efficient. Add to that a fabulous Tennerfest meal and an excellent breakfast both mornings, and we left totally impressed. We shall return!

  Excellent Staycation

  My wife and I booked in for 3 nights and we had a fantastic time. The food was excellent with first class service. All members of staff were extremely helpful and efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. Our room was first class and only thing missing was no Sky Sports channels. We undertook a number of walks and visited other hotels in the area for drinks.

  Fantastic Staycation

  We booked our staycation at La Barbarie Hotel based on recent reviews and we weren't disappointed. Helpful staff and a lovely suite. We'd booked dinner in the evening and a busy restaurant signalled we wouldn't be disappointed. Varied menu and wonderful food. We will be back again soon.....thanks to all the staff at La Barbarie

  Relaxing and peacefull

  Had a one night staycation, had great walk along the cliffs in the afternoon with drink at close by bar and then first class evening meal and lovely nights sleep. The staff were all so helpful and friendly.

  Excellent Quality Stay

  Warm welcome at reception on arrival for a 3 night stay. The room was spacious and with excellent facilities. Great view of the pool. The bar and restaurant staff were incredibly friendly with great service. The food was excellent and well presented. Cant wait to return.
