  Beautiful and relaxing holiday in a friendly enviroment.

  Really nice staff, they make us feel home, giving us a warm welcom and been always kind and friendly during the stay. Our room was big, clean, and with air conditioning. The Masseria is a beautiful place where to relax and eat nice fresh food. Short distance from the beaches and many beautiful villages to visit in the evening. We already raccomand the place to our friends. Ps my 2yr old daughter loved it as well, and she was welcomed from the owner with 2 beautiful knitted hat...thank you, we really hope we can come back!!!

  Surprised we didn't like it more

  Soon after leaving Fasano we were quickly in another world where ancient and gnarly olive trees crowded in on the narrow roads on the drive to Don Sante. Stepping from the car we are hit with an almost overwhelming smell of warm, rich peat - something very much of the earth. On the way to our mini apartment the grounds look immaculate, and inviting. A tennis court, a children's play area and a large clean outdoor pool. As we approached our home for two nights a charming and secluded patio and a private garden heralded our front door. As we entered our apartment the magic went poof. We are standing in a small bland charmless room, the kitchen as minimal as you could get and still claim it as a kitchen, the bedroom stark and without charm. The bathroom had the tiniest shower with horrible concertina sliding doors and nowhere to put a thing, except on the shower tray - fine until you needed to bend to reach it and the tiny cubicle made this difficult. On the plus side they made us welcome in the restaurant, easily accommodating our vegetarian request producing plate after plate of good pasta and salads til we groaned. It's curious to us that so much was very good, and an equal amount was not. Maybe the bedrooms in the main house had more charm, and I confess we had no real need of an apartment but wanted the extra space. We so wanted to like this mysterious place set in a magical wood but just didn't - odd what matters in the end...

  October holiday

  A fantastic B&b. We had a large room and bathroom with a comfortable bed as well as a terrace with tables and chairs. Great selection for breakfast and very peaceful and tranquil. The location was in a quiet spot, a 15 minute walk into Fasano. The road was dark and quiet but very safe to walk along. It was also a great base to visit nearby towns such as Alberobello and Polignano a Mare. A car is needed for this area. We also used the Masserias bikes one day and took a trip to the beach. We stayed 3 nights, but could have stayed longer. This is a lovely part of Puglia, very peaceful but perhaps a little on the quiet side in October.

  Buen hotel si o hay celebraciones

  Tipica masseria italiana, con encanto y bonita piscina, habitaciones grandes, muy sencillas y sin personalidad, baño con mampara con restos de suciedad, Nevera ruidosa que teníamos que apagar por la noche, Aire Acondicionado que no funciono durante los 4 días de estancia,

  Lovely family masseria and gorgeous food

  We visited the masseria and managed to have lunch, something they don't usually do for non residents. Owned and run by the family the food was excellent and presented with pride. Some of the ingredients had been produced there and these were explained to us. The staff were polite, attentive and friendly and they recommended a really excellent wine too. As usual I couldn't finish and had the cheek to ask for a doggie bag. They brought me a tray and I have just finished my pasta for tea. Yumm. I would love to stay there sometime, perhaps for a birthday treat.
