  Bad Customer Service

  The guest services staff and concierge were very rude and unprofessional. We had a noise complaint with our upstairs neighbors and Guest Services and the manager handled it very poorly. We were told they were going to speak to the neighbors about keeping it down, and we were repeatedly promised a call back from the manager on three separate occasions and never received one throughout our 7-day stay. It was only after we were driving home after checking out that the manager finally called, and she was extremely rude. We were hoping for a week of relaxation, but the excessive and loud noise upstairs woke us up really early every single morning. We got no rest the whole time, we didn't really get the chance to even enjoy the room. It didn't feel like a vacation at all. Despite the noisy neighbors, the vacation wouldn't have been as intolerable if we didn't receive such poor customer service. It was a complete waste of our exchange points to be treated so badly.

  Stay away! Not worth a penny.

  The rooms may look nice, but our Jacuzzi tub was disgusting. When the jets turned on, this nasty brown stuff came out! Disgusting! The walls are paper-thin. I know our neighbors didn't sleep because we could hear their baby crying all night long. The pool area is a joke. There are very few seats and maybe 10 tables available in the entire building. Very small pool to have two water slides. You are smacked in the face by chlorine as soon as the door opens. Other than that, there's not much to do for families. It would be okay for families with younger kids. Not much for adults and teens. BE AWARE! If they offer you a 4day/3 night stay for free after going to a presentation, it is a SCAM! We never do those things and finally gave in. They told us two hours max, and we were guaranteed 3 nights free. We were there for over 3 hours. I Sat through the entire stupid presentation and listened to this guy talked about how he was famous and made tons of money by being a professional athlete. They finally gave us the ticket we needed to redeem our free trip and get the heck out of there. When I called to activate our certificate, I was told that you have to sit through another one at a different location. You could not do another presentation at the same location within a year. But you have to use the 3 nights stay within a year. The guy on the phone said they do it this way to make you go to another resort and hopefully convince you to join their overpriced timeshare.

  Best of Branson

  Timber Ridge by Welk Resorts is Excellent I will comeback so far the best place I've stayed through my time share! very comfortable and many extra's available something for every age! Best are extremely comfortable roomy shower and bath gas fireplaces everything was clean and it had a out of town feel but minutes from all attractions.

  We were put into a second unit because the neighbors were obnoxiously loud at entrance to unit, security was called on them multiple times prior to our check-in. Poor conditions of bedding and sofa bed (springs exposed), bathroom was dirty upon check-in with hair hanging from bathroom vents. Maintenance and housekeeping were supposed to fix while we were out for the day but they did not come until we tried to go to bed at 9pm at night.

  Nothing like the Welk Resorts in Branson!

  Great staff, beautiful facility, spacious rooms - WOW! We took my father-in-law (soon to be 87) and had a spectacular time! He was very impressed with the room! The location was excellent too! I would return to this resort in a heartbeat!!!
