  Never going back for the second time

  Coming from Melaka, it's my fault booking this hotel without read the reviews. This is will be my first stay and last stay at this hotel. 1. The toilet so smelly. Please put some air freshner in the toilet. So uncomfortable 2. I just touchdown and straight the hotel. We are so hungry. As i enter the room i saw room service menu. But there's no phone in my room. So we decided to come down to the restaurant. But they just serve foods for hi tea only. However, thumbs up to the fnb team. They try to serve food and sent it to our room. Room service without phone in the room. I think i have to call post office for room service. My room is 122 3. This is happened during breakfast, hello hi. I'm the hotellier too. I'm nisa from ibis melaka. I request for half boiled egg. The girl from kitchen said no egg for today. And just go. No sorry or what. But got egg for the nasi lemak. It so dissapointed when they have so many staff. But all of them termenung instead of making me half boiled egg. It's so hard i guess. Most of the hotel, they will do half boiled egg for guest. But not this hotel. The breakfast also bad. The f&b team are so good in services but food quality is so yucky by kitchen.it makes f&b team looks nothing with good service. I'm writing this review while having breakfast here. Checking out and never come back (04/09/2017)

  Not brand new

  The room is ok, only that everything is worn down. But the food is nice. The hotel is located quite far (not within walking distance) from Kuching town. If you have your own transport then should not be a problem.

  Good ballroom BUT Choose your room carefully.

  One of the oldest hotel in Kuching New hotel building were good But the old terrace building & chalet were not up to hotel standards. Even budget hotel is better. Too OLD, everything were worn out. You could feel the spring of the mattress. Housekeeping were VERY POOR and lack of staff. BUT Ballroom, Banquet & Restaurant were EXCELLENT. Recommended for corporate event. ALWAYS request for new building if you need to stay here.

  Booked online. Given a room at 1st floor. Lift under repair. The toilet no light, anyway , hotel maintenance fixed immediately. Wifi is okey. The environment is like some haunted hotels movie. My nephew said so,ething happened at 3am..weird strange noise..then light flickered.. supernatural perhaps. Total rundown. Had breakfast at the hotel, disappointment.. limitedbselection, cold dish served. Im sure all can be improved.

  Potential wasted

  I believe this hotel has seen its glorious days many years ago. It has friendly n helpful staff, beautiful pool n large room. With a little more effort into maintenance, housekeeping and some extra channels to view on tv, this hotel can go a long way. The best part of the hotel is the free car park with security. So its an ideal place to stay if u r driving.
