  MIRA TRIO: Good value, good location, average hotel

  I stayed here during my corporate stay in Riyadh. Disagree with the previous haters that posted here. Obviously, it is not a world class hotel, but by Riyadh standards it is quite good and it has a excellent location and a good price (we paid SAR 350/night through our company). The issue for me with Riyadh is that the traditional 5* hotels are super expensive (and not very good - e.g. Sheraton) whereas the local hotels are "highly variable". Also, as a disclaimer - it really does take time to get used to the "arabic style" of rooms, i.e. huge suite-like rooms that are not very functional and have a rather peculiar design style...But I was in Riyadh to work not to admire hotel room design - no offence, but you dont go to riyadh for fun... Given that it takes more patience than most people will have to go and sleep in 10 hotels to find a decent one, I think this place is a safe bad and truly not too bad especially if you are a small business owner that does not have an unlimited expense account. One gripe - the free breakfast was mediocre at best and somebody needs to send the cooks to omelette school. For some reason, the Mira omelettes are dry, tasteless and overcooked, but anyway... Key question - would I stay here again - Yes, I would...

  Worst place to stay

  They didn't give my room as books claiming its system issue. Then charged me for more to get the suite type. Room service rejected to provide snacked as I was suppose eat my medicine so I had to eat something. They didn't have nothing to eat. Also restaurant was closed not anything to purchase. They rejected to clean my room claiming it hasn't passed 12 hrs from my check in time. Place is dirty Check photos

  A rn down hotel with clueless staff but a great location

  I've stay here many times as I had not made the reservations, never again. The hotel is old and run down condition. The staff is utterly clueless about the simplest request. Each time I have stayed there have been zero hangers in the closet, I ask for 8 hangers and 45 minutes later someone comes with a single hanger, I ask for 7 more and 15 minutes later he comes back with 2 hangers. I ask for an iron and I get a passable iron and an ironing board with NO material on it because it was burned off so you iron over a metal grate which marks your cloths. The lock box for your valuables is NOT locked down, I explained to the manager that you can simply walk away with the box in your hand, his answer was that no one steals.....then I asked, "why have the box in the first place?" All of the staff is nearly useless from the manager on down to the bus boys. Often towels were not replaced, toilet paper was not replaced. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are spacious. There is no view to speak of. The restaurant is okay.

  I was fooled by the shape of the building and Decour

  Please avoid this hotel at any cost there are alternatives any hotel is better than this one the best thing about this hotel is the building and the way he looks forget everything else I can't believe this hotel is rated four stars I read reviews but I no reservation and I flew into Riyadh late night I only stayed two nights out of 15. Thanks to trip advisor I will take into consideration everybody's comments because they do really matter.

  very bad and we will never think about it again

  We arrived there at 12:30PM and been informed that the water pump was not working so they need to shift us to another nearby branch ,we accepted that since we arrived late and need any place to relax ,however we got shocked from the receptionist telling us after making a call with the other branch that they cannot assist us since only suites were available at that time !! even we ordered water for drink and they did not serve us .
