  Fantastic

  Just returned from Miramare Queen Hotel after a fantastic holiday. It was one of the best holidays we have had as a family. The hotel is spotlessly clean and has excellent facilities. As mentioned in other posts the British are very much in the minority in this hotel however this didnt bother us. We arrived very late but were met Ramazan who took our bags to our room and was very helpful and polite. The reception staff were very welcoming and professional and provided us with all the information we needed. The next day we met with the Jet2 rep who was very informative. We booked a River Boat trip with him which also took us to the Waterfalls. Highly recommended. The restaurant is spotlessly clean and the food was really nice. You will certainly not go hungry here. We went to the a la carte Italian one night and it was fantastic. The pool area and beach are also spotlessly clean. We found out very soon that if you want a bed by the pools you have to be up very early. The waiters and bar staff also deserve a mention. They were quick to serve your drinks and remembered what you wanted for the next time. Special mention to Mehmet Ali Korkmaz who was brilliant at his job and we really appreciated his work. I must also mention Martin from the animation team who was brilliant and made us all feel so welcome. Yes, the British are in a minority here and yes sometimes there were language problems but the staff tried very hard to make us feel welcome. One slight criticism is that some announcements were not made in English so we didnt know about certain events that were happening but this seemed to improve as our holiday went on. So all in all a fantastic holiday at a wonderful hotel. We certainly intend to return.

  Salmonella poisoning

  My daughter and I have confirmed salmonella poisoning from the food at this hotel. . we only ate at the hotel (2nd August - 13th August 2019) we were both extremely ill, I began to suffer with severe stomach cramps on 7th Aug which progressed rapidly over the following days my daughter became unwell on the 9th and this continued for a further 4 days for us both, I reported this to concierge who advised taking imodium ( this I have since found out is not the correct advise) .We were both still unwell on arrival home during which time we went to the GP who sent a faecal sample off for testing that has come back positive for salmonella poisoning, we have had to take a second sample which we are awaiting results from. What began as a lovely family holiday was then completely ruined by illness, and my poor husband was on his own for the later half as we were unable to leave the room.

  Perfect holiday

  We have just returned from a 2 week holiday and enjoyed every minute of it. I was initially a little worried with this hotel being new to Jet 2, but my concerns were quickly alleviated. On arrival the man at reception was very welcoming as was the guy who showed us to our room. As we arrived late they asked us immediately if we were hungry and gave directions if we did want food. We declined but did head straight to lobby bar for refreshments. Room was very clean and was kept that way the full time by maids. Clean pool towels left in room each day and fridges replenished each day with drinks. Grounds are beautiful and exceptionally maintained, staff work tirelessly to ensure everything is always clean. We did not have an issue at all with food and would highly recommend A La Carte Italian. A suggestion would be if staying 2 weeks you get opportunity to visit 2 A La Carte restaurants - 1 per week. Main restaurant was nice a mention for Ceren who looked after the section we sat in, she was very attentive and remembered what we liked with our meal after first night. Entertainment - this was one of the best hotels we have visited for evening entertainment. The hotel brought on lots of different acts, they appear to have a 2 week rotation as never saw the same thing twice. During the day, I agree with others comments, if more English are visiting then they need to explain games better in English. Shout outs to Ece - pronounced AJ, Martin and Ozcan who really went out of there way to talk with us and to be fair the only 3 who took the time to speak English. My review would not be complete without a special thank you to Ismail who made fabulous cocktails at pool bar. We did meet some lovely people and will definitely return.

  Nice late summer holiday

  Overall if you landed here you would have a good holiday. Food and rooms are acceptable, but if you have previously experienced Sensimar, Sentido or Tui Blue brands then you will feel a touch disappointed.

  Returned home from the Miramare 4 weeks ago . A definate language barrier here. Only a handful of staff could speak English even though we stayed in side last year .. rooms average could do to be updated . Pool nice . Beach lovely. Entertainment not brilliant maybe due to the language. Food ok but repetative. husband 2nd week poorly due to food poisoning!! Ruined rest of this days for him
