  I saw this place being renovated 2 years ago when I stayed at the Sunrise Hotel over the road. I stayed in a cheap apartment in Hurghada this time but wanted some pool use and asked at reception if i could come in they changed me 50LE which is about £2 ! Was I spoilt everything is so clean and new and although I didnt see the rooms if the pool area is enough to go by Im sure they would be great. In a good area of Hurghada with the best British pub less than 3 minutes walk away Retro Bar . I think they have beach just over the road too , Photos now Really would have loved to add some photos but TripAdvisor wont for some reason go into my camera stream

  Not bad

  I stayed in this hotel recently. The rooms are nice & clean, but some of them are too exposed to the outer corridors. The food variety is poor. The food is being distributed in the open buffet in a really strange way: one of the stuff is standing at the main course stand,serving each person from the trays which causes a huge queue to form waiting to be served.

  Wouldn't return.

  We chose this hotel for the simple reason that it offered a family suite to accomodate 5 people in two bedrooms, which we reserved through Expedia. Of course when we arrived, it was not available. They advertise WIFI but it is available only in the small lobby area,not in the rooms, and is very, very slow. They offered two rooms which were next too each other, not connected. In the childrens room, the telephone did not work, the refridgerator did not work, and the remote for the AC did not work which means AC did not work and most of the lights in both rooms did not work. After multiple requests they replaced the batteries for the AC remote. I put in writing to fix the telephone cable after many requests and it was never repaired and I had to pound on the door to wake the kids early each morning before our planned trips. They never fixed or attempted to fix or replace the phone cable. The receptionist at the front desk was completely usesless.I had the feeling that they wouldn't fix anything unless tipped. The breakfast buffet was horrible, just beans, bread, some cereal, mashed potatoes, red-dyed sausage and once was enough for us. Go to "GAD restaurant" for 24 hour meals. The shower doors were nearly impossible to open/close.We had to request a second roll of toilet paper on the second day when it was not refilled. The hotel staff not very friendly. I recommend to stay across the street, on the beach at the Sunrise Resort if you don't have children less than 16 years old. Sunrise is a very nice place. I would never, ever stay at Sun and Sea again. If we hadn't booked thru Expedia, I would have left the minute they said the family suite was unavailable. The staff at the beach bar, across the street, were friendly and the service at the beach bar/restaurant was good, however, and they treated us well....only at the beach, though. My overall impression was that I did not feel welcome there and you won't either, they don't seem to care. Don't accept the beach towel tags unless you really need them. That's another scam.....

  Horrible hotel. Dont stay there!

  This place is awful! I booked 2 rooms through an agent, one double the other triple. When I got to the rooms they werent clean, there was food leftovers in the room, the beds werent clean and the sheets had satins and hair on them. Rooms Toilets were horrible, the towels was smelly and not clean, there was no shampoo and shower then they put a very very low quality soap and small packets of shampoo!! And the triple room was a double room and they added a small bed to make it triple and of course it made the room smaller. After going to the reception to change the rooms I managed to change them after many talks to a better rooms that was already clean and spacious with pool and sea view. The food is horrible, there is no variety at all and the food quality was too bad. At the restaurant the people who work there makes you feel like youre in a prison. They look at what you take and keep checking the plates whilst you eat in a very rude was as if you didnt pay for it and even refuse to let you enter with your purse or bag. Plus the place itself wasnt clean. The beach is across the road. Its too small and too dirty but lets say it was ok. There are 2 pools, but I didnt use them. After all it wasnt a pleasant stay at all and I wouldnt recommend it to anyone who wants to chill and relax. To hotel management: you have to listen to clients complaints and you have to change the restaurant staff, they are very rude, aggressive and treat people like theyre in prison as if they dont deserve to be treated good.

  The worst hotel in the world

  The worst hotel in hurghada I have ever stayed in. The staff doesn't know how to deal with the guests in a proper way. They have a rule in what they call open buffet which oblige you to be dedicated to a certain quantity of low quality and awful food, and when we tell them that we follow a certain nutrition plan so we need a specific amount of protein, they say that we should have said that during reservation and they would accept or refuse. To sum this up, don't be fooled by the images on the internet that let you beleive that it looks like heaven on the earth while it is the worst hotel in the world.
