Wonderful stayExcellent stop on our road trip. Enjoyed our 1 bedroom suite with the kids on the pullout in the living room. Spacious room, clean and quiet. Appeared to have good Covid procedures in place. Utilized laundry facilities which were clean and functional. Pool and jacuzzi area were spacious and comfortable. Right across from a brewery and down the street from a convenience store.

Person with lowered immune system staying here for safety while apartment is worked on.Stone creek lodge. 9/4-9/7 9/4 called early to double check on cleanliness and check in policies. Website says that no debit cards accepted for deposit and I wanted to make sure that I could use mine. They (Tia) assured me they would have my room extra clean and all toiletries, and bedding replaced with new, sealed toiletries, and freshly laundered bedding and towels. She also assured me that they clean with the best standards. Including having heating and AC that uses outside air. I requested that the room be properly aired out and that the vents be cleaned as there are studies that recirculated air can allow the virus to spread more. I was told that due to my health and safety that they would encourage me to do an early check in so that I would not have to risk a line of people. Check-in went well. The luggage carts were a bit worn down and was a bit hard to push. I requested that the luggage cart be retrieved as I was very exhausted, the Cart was still outside of the door 2 hours later. The toilet paper was opened and unsecured, but full so I dont know if the room attendant opened it up. The individual toiletries do not come sealed (I checked with the front desk ad the opened a new box to confirm and gave me some right from the new box), which seems to be a bit of a safety issue as one of them looked like it had been used or at least sampled. The room was very hot when I entered. The curtains were open, the AC unit was off, and the sun was streaming right in the window. The room looked to be mostly clean, except for the toilet which had visible streaks of feces. My booked room is a Queen Suite which has a nice little sitting area w/Sofa, and kitchenette (microwave, minifridge, and counter). The Bathroom has a clean bathtub that is very inviting. There are a few questionable choices regarding the layout and amenities of the room itself. The wall mounted Flatscreen TV is a bit smaller than I would have expected. It is also not accessible for use with any media devices. It is bolted to the wall in such a way that it is difficult to plug an HDMI cable into the back. When I called the Front Desk to inquire if I would be able to connect my Video Game System to the TV, I was told that it was allowed, but was difficult to reach unless I had planned ahead and brought a screwdriver. I did not actually need a screwdriver as I discovered that the cable box was just wedged behind the television and I could use the HDMI cable from that instead of attempting to plug in a second one. Though this led to the realization that the remote is for the cable box and would not change the television input or channels so I had to do some investigating to figure out where the buttons on the TV itself were located. When getting ready for bed, I was a bit mystified to discover that there is not an outlet near the bedside table available to charge my phone with. There is one outlet that is fully used by the lights and alarm clock. It is also blocked in by the table and would be difficult to access. A bit away from the other side of the bed is an outlet that I was able to use, though it was awkward as my phone had to be set on the floor since there was nothing else to set it on. The next day around Noon I figured I would go look and see the advertised business center. I made sure I had my room key and exited the room. As soon as the door shut behind me, I realized I had forgotten my facemask on the counter. Luckily I had my key and it would be simple to open the door and grab it. Except my room keys were no longer working. There was a staff member just down the hallway and I questioned if I was doing something wrong, He didnt seem to hear me and entered a room. I patiently waited until he reentered the hallway and asked for his help. I explained that I needed to grab my face mask. At this point I noticed that while he had a facemask on, it was not on his face. It was hanging around his neck. He told me that I didnt need to worry about my facemask as We dont really follow all that facemask stuff here. Then he walked right up to me and stepped between me and the door. He reached out and grabbed my keycard out of my hand. It didnt work for him, so he used his housekeeping key to open the door, handed me my keycard back and walked away. I watched him go back to his cart, grab supplies and walk into the other room without his mask on. I am very concerned by this as I am now questioning how clean my room actually is. I went downstairs as I was going to check the business center still, and I now needed to talk to the front desk about the key card. The front desk had a sign on it stating that they would return momentarily. After 15 minutes another housekeeping employee passed by and I asked him if he knew where the front desk clerk was. He immediately stopped to help me and was very polite. Within a minute the front desk clerk was working on reactivating my keycard. Right then a family exited the Elevator. Most of them headed straight for the door, but one Man came to the front counter. He approached right next to me (he also was not wearing a mask) and started talking to the front desk clerk. I also found this concerning as the front desk (and this clerk in particular) is aware of my need for health safety. I would have hoped that the staff would help to follow basic safety guidelines near me, even if they do not choose to do so for themselves. There is no information I can find to talk to anyone accept the same front desk person, and I cannot find an email address for Management. I will talk to someone on the next workshift.

Good value in MissoulaWe had a good stay in this hotel. The king size bed was very comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The staff was friendly and efficient. I appreciated their Covid precautions and they sanitized daily. If there was just one drawback, it's on the edge of town and everything was an exit to the east a couple miles.

DisappointingMy wife and I stayed here for 4 days while we were sheltering from the west coast fires in September of 2020. The stay was not awful, but definitely disappointing. - Front desk staff is super nice and helpful. This was the highlight of the stay. - Room was clean overall, except for the shower which was mostly clean but had black grout that was clearly blackened from years and year of use. - Bed felt a little lumpy, but ok. My persnal preference would've been something firmer and less lumpy. - Tons of people not wearing face masks. Mostly guests, but given masks are a state mandate and COVID cases are growing, I wish this was enforced at least a little bit. - The hotel is very close to the freeway and airport. Sometimes it was quiet, and sometimes it was noisy. We stayed in the executive suite because we had two pets and wanted more space, and the exec suite faces the freeway and overlooks a gas station. (See photo) - My biggest issue is with how the manager, Casey, handled a complaint/request from us. There was a hum above the room. It was not too loud, but would get louder every minute or two. This was enough to keep my wife awake all night, and we ended up getting a second room to sleep in just to avoid the noise at night, while our pets stayed in the large room. The noise is fine if you're a sound sleeper but might keep you awake if you're a light sleeper. It sounds like a loud fridge or A/C unit is above the bedroom in the exec suite. On the last day we asked if we could check out at 3pm. We had been told the exec suite stays empty for months, and no one was staying in it after our check out. The manager was out, but one of the staff called her and asked if she'd accomodate our late checkout. We were told no, and we'd have to pay a half day fee (>$200) to check out late. I asked if I could speak to the manager because we had just paid $500+ for a second room because the exec room was too loud at night, but was told the manager firm on the half day fee. That's what prompted me to write this review. It's frustrating that the room was loud enough that my wife couldn't sleep and we had to get a second room, but it adds insult to injury that when we asked for a few hours late checkout in an expensive room that's vacant for *months* at a time, we were told we'd have to pay over $200. Well, I'm paying the $200, but it also motivated me to leave this review. I liked all of the front desk staff I spoke with, but I won't stay here again given the overall experience.
