What a beautiful setting and so close to the city 7.5 kilometres the managers are very friendly and helpful.5 kilometre to the best pub we have eaten at Parma and pot $14.00 and they are great.the units and toilet let the park down while quiet clean they are very dated and need upgrading

All this combined made for a very disappointing stay, we won't be back there again.

Stayed four nights from Wednesday 25th February to Sunday 1st March in a 2 bed family cabin. First impressions of the park were that it looked run down and needed a lot of work to bring it up to a reasonable standard, something their website doesn't show. We stayed in Cabin 17 - it was old and in need of updating. Outside the cabin there was dust and cobwebs everywhere even on the table and chairs which had seen better days. Inside needed a good clean, not sure when the last time the furniture was moved to clean properly under the beds and couch. The table and benches had dust on them so guessed our cabin was not checked properly prior to our arrival. The bedding was clean, at least one positive. All this added up to a lack of basic house keeping by the park. The WIFI was useless, we were unable to connect to the parks WIFI not sure why that was the case, staff were aware there was an issue for everybody but couldn't say why the park didn't provide a better WIFI signal. The park is situated 7kms from CBD but is in a valley between hills and with no mobile tower close mobile coverage was patchy. There was no signal with Optus and Telstra's was a very weak signal and the staff recommended going to the BBQ area to get the Telstra signal. Not an ideal solution but at least I could connect to the internet. This again was not noted on their website. We selected this park because we are Top Parks member and usually their parks are of a certain standard. We were not expecting anything great with this park as it wasn't expensive to stay there, we now know why. Very disappointed that Top Parks has it as one of its Parks and promotes it as such considering the poor quality of accommodation being offered there. All this combined made for a very disappointing stay, we won't be back there again.

Permanent residents made me feel like I was intruding!

We paid $34 for an unpowered site which is the most Ive paid during my outback trip, however if youre a member you get it for $30. Upon arrival the receptionist was very friendly! We set up and then decided to move later on in the night as the bugs next to the lake were horrendous! We also felt due to the permanent residents on the campsite we were unable to use the closest toilets as they had taken over and made it their own. I personally felt very uncomfortable and felt like I was intruding as the permanent residents stand and stare watching you drive through the campsite. The showers are dated, small and theres only a plastic chair to put your clothes on. Overall I just felt very unsafe and uneasy on this campsite which is frustrating as its not cheap. I wouldnt stay here again.

    Dont go there!

We had plans of staying on a powered site for a few months, the old lady Dawn was rude and uninviting, the trees dropped bits in our air con, terrible internet connection we wete told we should only use it if absolutely necessary and last but not least a lady 2 doors up got bitten by a tiger snake!

Lovely location but would NEVER stay there again.

Our site was situated next to a permanent who obviously like to use it as a toilet. Leaving us with a lovely aroma that would whiff across our van. Our lovely permanent neighbour would also love his daily bong around dinner time. The permanents of this park is their downfall. We left early because we felt unsafe. We got no sleep on the Saturday night for their partying, loud music and yelling. They are intimidating and grotesque. Upon arrival you can see the park has spent some money on a self check in station and yet they cant seem to update or add more toilets/showers. Wifi was terrible for what you pay per night. Such a shame for what is a perfect setting and location.
