  Disappointing stay

  We booked this hotel thinking it would be an oasis of calm on a long journey through Germany. It's classified as a 4 star hotel. It bills itself as luxurious - which it most certainly isn't. The rooms have been renovated but the corridor areas of the hotel are tired. There's no air conditioning. The receptionist was disinterested in her guests. We were given no information on what was available at the hotel, or in the surrounding area. There's supposed to be 3 restaurants but despite repeated requests she would only give us the expensive a la carte menu - maybe there was no other. The rooms are comfortable but the 'balcony' actually runs the full length of each landing, with no separation between the rooms. As there's no air conditioning you need to have the door open but then the noise and cigarette smoke from other guests comes in.

  Great hotel with caring staff

  We stayed here for two days after a flight from Barcelona not Frankfurt and a hectic drive. the trip took much longer due to traffic and it was a welcome relief to arrive and be shown a great room by the very attentive staff. Dinner was magnificent and staff was again fantastic. Breakfast the next morning was a delight, very large and all fresh. The rooms are cozy and quiet. Highly recommend.

  Needs renovation

  Rooms are renovated, but bathroom definitively needs renovation as the corridor do. Restaurant is fine even if the price is quite high for up country in Germany. Breakfast buffet is big and the staff is helpful.

  Rest ?

  We booked this hotel based on the fact that its nearby the praxis klinik. We know the region very well and its known for passing restfull times. So how you explain the fact of marriage parties with music till vefy late i do t know .... Good hotel but if you want rest, just stay away. Normally German hotels are amlways worth 1 star more than they mention but here its the other way round due to the fact that you allow marriage parties to conflict with restfull stays. Very pittyfull because the hotel has all it takes. Take the parties away and we would quote a 4 on 5 certainly. Its clear the owners let the little extra money go before long term thinking.

  Okay Hotel - Great Restaurant

  The rooms are spacious and clean. The bathrooms feel like a time travel back into the 60s (: Everything provided thats needed, such as towels. The restaurant on the ground floor is great! Good food with excellent drink suggestions. Overall solid hotel.
