  La mejor relación calidad precio

  Muy buen hotel, limpio y con buenos servicios. Para tener en cuenta ya en otros,viajes y en otras ciudades de Suecia. De Los mass baratos, si pensamos que en estos países los hoteles son bastante más caros que en el resto de Europa.

  Nada fuera del otro mundo

  Estuve en el First hotel hace 1 mes y la verdad esperaba mucho más. Se encuentra alejado de todo, así que si no dispones de transporte, vas a pagar muy caro no haberte hospedado en el centro de la ciudad. Las habitaciones son pequeñas y extrañamente tienen enchufes encima de la puerta (?¿) Los baños también son enanos. En cuanto a las zonas comunes del hotel, son bonitas y cómodas, con café/té gratis y con un personal amable dispuesto a ayudarte siempre. El desayuno buffet no es nada espectacular pero es correcto.

  Avoid this hotel

  Missing reservation! Hotel had made an error with our reservation. I had a confirmation for correct date but the hotel had a wrong date. We booked a family room and there wasn't any available. It took 1,5 hours and lots of insisting to find us room where 2 adults and 2 children would fit. And all this mess at the evening after long day of travelling. The mistake was made by the hotel. The did not give us any compensation. Becouse it was quite late when we had the room we had dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was terrible - they didn't have all the components for dishes and still they took the whole price from food. Also the adult bed is only 140 cm wide. Hotel is untidy and worn out.

  Tired, dirty and poorly maintained; avoid

  1 night stay in a family room. The hotel has an interesting tower design, with some rooms overlooking the inner atrium rather than the outside. Which is OK, but means if you have one of those rooms, there are no opening windows and you are completely reliant on the room ventilation to get air. In our case, the ventilation system (clearly ancient, from I'd guess 30+ years back) was not working (you could hear the fan grinding slowly and noisily to a start from time to time) meaning that, on one of the hottest days of the year, we had no ventilation. The room quickly became unbearably hot, stuffy and humid (almost sauna-like) and there were no spare rooms to change to. We were given a desk fan which was a help and better than nothing but really - if you have sealed rooms with only mechanical ventilation, you need to be much more proactive in your maintenance of the ventilation. We told two separate staff members about the problem, so if you stay in room 207 and the ventilation is still broken, there's literally no excuse from the hotel's point of view. On top of that, the shower drain was blocked, leading to flooding the bathroom with water, the bathroom didn't smell great, and the beds were dirty (blood, dirt and other bodily fluids on the mattress protectors - see pictures). Shameful. I've stayed in several First hotels, and generally they're OK, but this is by far the worst. The family room had bunk beds that fold out from the wall - normally, we find this arrangement quite practical with kids, but in this case they were old beds with almost non-existent fall protection on the top bunk (not damaged, just poor design), so we had to put one mattress on the floor instead. Breakfast buffet was comprehensive and good. Convenient free parking right outside the door. Overall, it's a tired hotel due for refurbishment; it would be OK but the hotel is clearly cutting corners on cleaning and maintenance. I wouldn't stay again.

  Will avoid this hotel in the future

  We stayed at First Hotel Jönköping for one night in July in a family room. We appreciated the free parking and the friendly hotel staff. We were two adults and two children and stayed in a family room with a bunk bed. There were no ladder to get to the upper bed, so we had to use a chair. Due to the room being quite small, the double bed was also small and only had one shared blanket. The curtains were not of the blackout type and did let a bit too much sunlight through. In the bathroom there were only one hand towel and three bath towels. We found out that we did not need anymore towels and thus did not ask for more. On the plus side the room was clean. The breakfast was a huge disappointment. We did of course understand that the breakfast buffet was somewhat smaller under the current Corona circumstances. Nevertheless, we were very surprised to see that the breakfast only consisted of bread rolls, butter, cheese, boiled eggs, yoghurt and cereals. There were no jam, ham, tomatoes, cucumber or fruit? According to the staff, they were out of ham but more would arrive in a few days. It goes without saying that this breakfast was the lightest continental breakfast this family has ever experienced in Scandinavia. All in all, we will avoid this hotel in future if other hotels are available.
