    NOT FLEXIBLE IF YOU ARE DELAYED!

    We love Hone2 Suites. We stay there when we can. We booked this hotel on our way up North after Thanksgiving Weekend. We DID NOT EXPECT DELAYS ON I-95. This put us back by hours to get to the hotel. We are senior citizens and do not travel in the dark. We called the Hilton 800- number AND THE HOTEL to say we had to get off the I-95 and we also texted. No resolution. We also called the following morning. No resolution. NO REFUND. DON'T BOOK UNTIL YOU ARE WITHIN STRIKING DISTANCE OF THE HOTEL. THEY ARE NOT FLEXIBLE EVEN IN THIS ENVIRONMENT. DON'T RESPOND, HILTON, WITH PLATITUTES. BE CUSTOMER CENTRIC!

    Room not clean/Bad service

    Side table by couch had sticky cup rings, kitchen table was dirty, nightstands were dirty and one had a dead lady bug on it. There were several ladybugs in the room. Bed didnt have right bedding on it, mattress protector was used as a blanket (in between flat sheet and what seemed to be a possible duvet cover?) Called front desk to ask for sheets to make the couch up for my kids and was asked if I needed it right away, it was 11pm and my kids needed to go to sleep. He said he was by himself. Ok, so I sent my husband and the guy was not alone at the front desk, there was another employee there as well. Asked for a crib, they only had three and all were used and we were only given two pillows. We tried our best but our two year old still ended up rolling off the bed.

    Decent Hotel

    We stayed for one night in February with 2 adults and one service dog. The staff were very friendly and the hotel seemed to be in a pretty safe area. The room was the same as other Home2Suites I've stayed in, but nothing special. There was no TV controller or guide, one of the glasses was broken in the dishwasher when we arrived and there were some noisy guests a few doors down. The only thing available for breakfast was juices and yoghurt - I'm not sure if breakfast wasn't running properly with COVID, or if it just hadn't been restocked. The hotel overall was nice though with a decent outside space to sit. There are dog bins in the back, and a business center if you need computers. There's also a gym and some other amenities if you're staying longer. It seems to be particularly expensive to stay here though, and it's not worth $130+ a night.

    Medication Taken

    My Medication, was taken.While I was at n the Shower. Obviously, I,was -being watched.Through Surveillance . Someone,that Probably worked There. Came in-to;bathroom, I laid My Medication down.In-the;Bathroom. Near the Shower.I closed the Shower Curtain. Briefly;Once I reopened the Shower Curtain. My Medication was Gone. As I checked out.I noticed;The African AmericanFemale_ Housekeeper-.On The same;Floor .I was Assigned To. Shady Business Practices.At Home 2 Fayetteville NC. The Orange Couch ;in The Room, was Soilded;an.Nasty looking. Certain People must be Targeted. BE-A-WARE. IN REGARDS TO HOME 2 FAYETTEVILLE;NC. SYCAMORE DAIRY RD.

    Poor Management

    I don't know if the issue is the management or the owner at this hotel but something has definitely changed for the worse here. They used to be willing to work with those that work for the military but not so any more. I had a last minute change to the itinerary which is not uncommon for the military. In the past when this has happened the management has always been willing to work with me as they know I will be back, seeing how many rooms I have booked in that area over the last year. When on the call, I mentioned, there was a last minute change to the itenary plus I'm not feeling well today so I need to change my reservation. The person on the phone (never gave her name) asked for my name and looked up the reservation. The response was "you're getting charged a fee no matter what." I said "well I'm coming back in a few weeks can we modify the reservation?" The response was no you are getting charged for one night...okay bye. *click* Never gave me a chance to ask any questions. To top this off, they didn't send a bill until I called again several days later. Yes this was within the 24 hours but in the past they have been willing to work with me as I frequently stay at this and other Hilton properties in the area. I did call the Hilton Concierge line and the hotel was unwilling to work with them. The person on the line was a bit surprised by that. Gauging by the length of how long that person talked to the hotel, I would not be surprised if they got the same treatment of being hung up on like I was. I would say if you are military, work for the military, or are a contractor, stay away from this hotel as they will not work with the changes in schedule that come up.
