  Great ski weekend

  very nice hotel in a good location opposite the ski school & lift pass office. Ski from the door of this hotel. The hotel has good size rooms with comfy beds. Good food in the restaurant. This is only a 2 star hotel so don't expect a 4 star, however, you will get 5 star service from the family that own and run the hotel. We couldn't find the hotel on our first night, it was almost mid-night but when we rang for directions the owner drove 6km to find us to guide us back. To make things worse our hire car couldn't get up the icy approach road so we left the car and the owner put all our bags including a large ski bag in his car and drove us to the door. He even opened the bar for a much appreciated beer. We had dinner on the Saturday night which was a traditional fondue, with a nice bottle of Cote de Rhone. Both were very good and very reasonably priced, we have paid 3 times this price at other ski hotels. For a good location at affordable prices this hotel will take some beating, add to this great owners and it's a great package. Skiing in the area is limited as is the apres so a long weekend is the best option. Would we recommend - a very big yes we would.

  Incredible view

  We stayed for 4 nights at the Hotel, and although the hotel itself doesn't have much to say for it, the surrounding area was lovely. . , the staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast is not good and it is not worth the money, we have a lot of problem with the free Wi-Fi there was not Wi-Fi and we were very disappointed

  Familly night on the ski slopes

  The family room is good enough to rest with the two kids, we decided to make it simple so we had the dinner and breakfast in the hotel. The day menu was nice, the contre filet very tender, and the kids steak and fries where of good quality. The breakfast was correct, no scramble eggs or fried bacon, but cheese and charcuterie. Home made fresh fruit salad and marble cakes. Coffee and chocolate on self service, so you can eat without any waiting time. Because the huge advantage of the hotel (yes it was winter, so the outdoor heated pool was not in use) is to be 1m away from the ski piste. Thank has well for the animation room, where you can seat with the kids to enjoy a cartoon.

  Brief stop

  A brief stop after a ridiculous amount of driving over the last 2 days. I've been camping and sleeping in my car so needed a decent nights sleep and some creature comforts. The service has been excellent. The room is clean, as is the separate bathroom and separate wc. In fact the whole hotel looks spotless. One thing which cannot go without mention is the food - absolutely superb. It's no surprise that this hotel has made the Michelin guide for the last 2 years. All the amenities are here. It really is difficult to find fault with the place. The only reason I considered not giving it 5 is due to the location which is probably very stingy of me as it's up a mountain in a ski resort in the middle of summer and there isn't a whole lot going on! The hotel itself is excellent. If you don't mind being well away from everything this is a great place.
