  Honest review

  Stayed here 11-18th September. 2 adults 2 teens , firstly we knew the place wasnt really for teens but still booked anyway so as expected no entertainment for teens except on site pool table. Famous bbq Greek night wasnt on due to owners health which was disappointing but not there fault . Rooms tired and dated but we are not bother by this as there just for sleeping however kitchen area very small and dark making it difficult to see to cook in we are not fussy with accommodation at all but kitchen was a real issue, 2 bedrooms with 2 single beds in each , meant me and my partner couldnt sleep together which was a bit odd also had to pay 100 euros for 2x air con due to being 2 bed apartment which I felt was a bit unfair , no TV, on plus side shower always warm and room cleaned and towels changed regularly. Sea view in photo from room . Leftis and family were very friendly even playing pool with our family and ball games in pool which was nice . Lots of return guests and this will be due to how friendly they are . Beach literally a 2 min walk away with lots of bars restaurants around the area (2 min walk) to chose from making hotel a great base for exploring-this area of Corfu . Didnt like the fact you couldnt eat your own things round the pool , ice creams crisps ect should be allowed as kids like to snack and had to go into apartment to do so , seems silly . Breakfast wasnt buffet as expected either was choice of fried food on Toast instead , food always served quickly and was nice with coffee and juice , didnt eat any other meals here so cant comment on this. Pool absolutely spotless and well maintained . Hotel in September is definitely for the older generation but this didnt bother us , few noisy nights in bar which sounded like people were having lots of fun , couldnt be heard with room door closed and not a criticism as that stuff doesnt bother us . Area in general for older generation we felt , probably wouldnt return to area , having been to Gouvia in past which has a few more places for evening entertainment for families .

  Small and very friendly

  Stayed here for 11 days with my husband, we had a fantastic time, everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We stayed B&B. There was a lot of choice or for 2 you could have a full English breakfast.. Well worth 2 euros. Our apartment was very nice. Basic Greek accommodation with a big balcony overlooking the road. It was very clean. towels and linen changed regularly. I can see why people return year after year. The pool was lovely and plenty of sun beds Had a few drinks and meals at the pool bar the meatballs were really lovely some of the best I have tasted in Greece 5 minutes to the beach and a 2 minute walk to the bus stop supermarket and local tavernas We met some great people and had a fantastic holiday

  Absolutely Fantastic

  What a wonderful holiday we had at Romantica Corfu Wonderful Wonderful place Laughed from beginning to end 13 of us and no way did we want to come home My husbands 70th birthday and Leftis and his family made it so very special for him Nothing is too much trouble for them Nice food and great cocktails They were all so lovely with the Grandchildren we are going back again to celebrate one of their 10th birthdays and we cant wait x

  Great place!

  We have just returned. We had booked one of the apartments which all seemed to be located on the same side of the hotel over looking the allotment. We werent too such what that apartment would consist of, it was two proper bedrooms with a very small kitchen, shower and toilet. This was fine as we didnt spend much time in the room and if we did we sat on the balcony. Be prepared to pay for air con which we knew about before we travelled. It was very hot and we definitely needed it to sleep! We were B&B - breakfast is served at the pool bar 9-11am. There is a set menu which you can chose from which is mainly continental or toast with beans....sausage.....bacon etc. The bacon was lovely!! You get a hot/cold drink too. If you wanted something off the main menu you could for a reduced price eg full English 2euro or Greek yogurt. We are lunch there a few times, chips are homemade and amazing!! The pool area is lovely and clean and the pool toilets looks new. No inflatables are allowed unless swim aim like arm bands. Also due to Covid the chlorine levels are a lot higher in the water so we bought goggles as the first few days we had sore eyes. We had heard in previous reviews about Greek BBQ night and over bits of entertainment that Lefti ran but this year he had said they had to all be cancelled due to Covid. This didnt bother us too much. Location was great. Few minutes to a lovely beach, it is a big pebbly getting into the water so beach shoes helped - the beach is generally sandy. Up on the main road are several supermarkets - you must were a face mask and a range of places to eat/drink. Sadly not everything had decided to open including some of the larger hotels. This didnt bother us as it meant the resort was fairly quiet. Behind the hotel is the little village that youll hear the clock chime. A must is the village taverna and Bella vista. Worth the uphill walk!! The local green line bus stops just at the hotel on the road. The Corfu town bus B7 which goes to Corfu town stops at a lovely place called Benitses which is about 15 min away. The beach isnt as good at Benitses though as very rocky. We would return again, the main two downsides for us were the mosquitoes but everyone we spoke to even in different hotels had the same issue and also there appears to be families who know Lefti and they stay elsewhere and use the pool which means that the pool sunbeds get taken up. Even someone said Lefti put their towels out for them at night so they got the beds which were in the sun nearly all day - not sure if this is true! All in all a great stay and Moraitika is lovely!

  Reasonable Location Some room very outdated

  We stayed there three years ago. We were a family and booked three apartments . One was on the ground floor, nicely decorated with a small but usable shower. One was towards the back of the same block, but facing the other direction. Everybody in this room got bitten to pieces, and as they were facing the bar, the kids were kept awake by the noise from the drinkers until the early hours every night. The third room was from the 70s. Tired old pine furniture. And old non working fridge used as a cupboard. Very dim lighting, an additional bed squeezed in, and an additional chair squeezed in on the balcony, which was so small the third chair had to be stacked on top of another to actually make enough room for two people to sit.The shower tray was the size of one in s static caravan with a plastic curtain that stuck to you, the shower head holder was broken so it was "fixed" with tape to hold it in place. The air conditioning was far too expensive to have. The breakfasts were good value, and the Greek night is definitely good value and great food. The main road has "some" pavement but it's not great to walk down it with kids ands lorries thundering past. There are some fantastic restaurants all around. I would recommend the Sea Breeze on the beach.There really isn't much to do in the area as a whole, so we took a couple of bus trips and visited some other resorts. It was a cheap holiday, but i would rather have paid more and have had a better quality room. I wouldn't stay there again.
