  Best place to stay in Ogunquit

  Phenomenal property with great amenities. Close to Main Street and rooms are clean and beautiful. Highly recommend staying here, especially with off-season pricing. Would easily come back again. Great hotel!

  If youre a penguin youll love the Cold indoor pool which they claim is suppose to be heated!

  The main reason why we went back to this hotel is because we were here 2 yrs ago and the indoor pool was heated beautifully in Mid October. They also offered a very nice complimentary Hot breakfast. We went back again the exact time of year for 2020. The pool was So cold even my grandchildren didnt go in and if they went in it was for less then 5 minutes! Everyone there complained how cold it was. I got several text Messages during our stay asking are entire family how our stay was and I complained about the pool being so cold and its suppose to be heated and its not summer! They did nothing. Then they took away the free hot breakfast and gave us wrapped mini danish and granola bars. No fresh fruit. They complain the reason was of Covid. BUT, in the same Token in the exact restaurant they were to give us the breakfast buffet, they served lunch AND dinner BUT for a Charge!!!??? This is so wrong. They took away maid service as well. They claim to have to Charge for Children over 5 hrs old because they give us a free breakfast. The Covid breakfast they gave us was a joke. That wasnt worth a few hundred dollars to being the children. But this was a family vacation with my kids and grandkids. The rooms we had were very nice. So with all these changes and cuts during our stay they should have turned up the pool heater or why didnt we get a Covid-19 Discount? Im just tired of businesses blaming the increases put on the customers on Covid. My main reason of complaint Is the indoor pool not being warm during October. If they had done that As we Asked I wouldnt be writing on here. If you have children you may not want to go here. Sad to say as they advertise theyre family owned and operated. Kids under 12 should be free.

  Always great!

  The meadowmere rarely disappoints! Its a wonderful property, centrally located and convenient. Its always very clean and welcoming. The rooms are comfortable. Its a bit pricey but understandable for location and amenities.

  Stay away if you believe in Covid!!!!

  Supposed rules about masks and distancing are ignored. People hanging about without masks in hallways, common areas and pools. Staff refused to intervene. This is just an okay hotel and completely pointless if you cant swim in the pools.

  WORST OF THE WORST

  Im at a loss for words on how bad this hotel really is. I will update later once I call the health inspector and comprehend how horrible my stay was. LAURA IS THE WORST of the worst so fake and clearly has no clue what shes doing. Picture Regina George.. but worse. Thats is the manager. The owner is apparently well known around the local area after I explored and told people about my stay. Apparently the hotel was amazing at one point until some arrogant man who couldnt even identify himself as the owner to me. I know understand way so sad. This is a pure example of someone that is clueless about hospitality and is narcissistic #**! I think you get the point. Ugh what a shame.
