  nice stay

  For work I choose this hotel for it's location Room was very comfy, great bed, shower and tv. Staff were very helpful, and breakfast was superb

  Good value ... and conciliatory staff

  I stayed here twice - my first stay was exellent! A lovely room, quiet, attentive staff, comforable bed ... you name it ... My second stay started off unpleasant: A TINY room - maybe 3 m by 2 m, maybe not even! Smelly, a bathroom where I (1,65 m / 5 ft 5 in) could not stand upright to brush my teeth ... noisy, as facing a road with traffic 24/7 and you could hear ANYthing from the adjacent rooms, even a wisper, even, if they just turned in their beds! And finally ther was a very, very, very uncomfortable bed in that room with bedding, that must have been older, than a century and never aired during that period. To top it of - that stay was even more expensive, than the first one. When I complained the first morning, I just got the answere, that the hotel had no influence on the price, but the prices were made by the provider of the internet platform ... o.k., but the hotel was involved in asigning the rooms, I assume? When I complained again in the evening, I was assigned a VERY nice room, definetely above my category! And slept well, what I appreciated, as I was there for a rather demanding seminar.

  Have stayed there many times

  I have stayed many times at this hotel, as the location works well for me (not in the centre of town though). The clean rooms vary from small singles to large. Staff are helpful and professional. I always find the beds comfortable. Breakfast is good. The only downside are the paper-thin walls. You will hear everything from the neighbouring bedrooms and bathrooms. If you can live with that, you won't regret your stay.

  A typical business person's hotel

  Get a good deal on weekends at this very good little Hamburg hotel. It is not in the town center but it does have free parking and it is really good value for money. Basic but everything you need including a good breakfast for a little extra money.

  Only if need to save some money

  Really ugly neighbourhood - close to the busy crossroad, backyard desperately needs maintenance, next to it there is a house which is almost falling apart... It is not a disaster, but the location is not nice. We had two rooms, both were pretty small and their layout was making them even smaller. Though not located next to the elevator, we were hearing it during the night. Staff was ok, maybe we expected a bit more warmth given the fact it is a relatively small hotel. Breakfast was surprisingly good. There is parking. So if you come to (expensive) Hamburg and you are on budget, it is not a bad choice. But we found Hamburg great city and this hotel does not really correspondents with it.
