  Cheap But Not Good...

  We paid 47 for a double room, which is a really good rate during this time of the year (17th March 2006, Friday). The room is clean, normal size, smell of cigarette smoke and nosiy. If you are not a light sleeper, I guess it should be good enough. Since my husband is a light sleeper, we tends to look for a quite hotel which this Roc del Sola looks like one as it is located away from the main street with heavy traffic. However, we were wrong as we can hear noises from everywhere, guests from another rooms like on top, left, right, below, along the corridor and the narrow street infront of the hotel. We can hear noises throughout the night. They have only about 5 parking lots (in front of the hotel) for their guests, which is too few as compared to the number of rooms they have. Also we have had a great difficulty of finding a parking lots around the area. It true that there's a big space (dirt path) where we can park our car there but it's completely full all the time. We don't mind paying to park our car in the hotel's parking but they don't have one for us. In the end, we gotta leave our car in a parking about 2 kms away from the hotel at 7.80 euros per nite. I think the breakfast is the best that the hotel provide us but not their juices (orange and pinapple) as they taste like water with sugar. I'll try some other hotels than going back again.
