  Lovely little hotel

  The hotel is centrally located, there are beaches, tavernas and activities all within a short walk. The rooms are beautiful, spacious and very clean. The only issue is the bathroom flooding when you shower, we sacrificed a hand towel to cope with the splashes so its not a real problem. There is a good variety of food every day and we were happy to see no chips! We would definitely return to the hotel if returning to Crete.

  Outstanding staff and service

  Just back from a 1-week break staying at the Maya Beach Hotel with my wife. This is a small family-run hotel easily reached from the airport. We had a rental car from the airport and found this hotel ideally located for exploring the coastline. Many of the guests were taking coach excursions with pick-ups from just outside of the hotel. Rooms were clean as was the pool and rest of the establishment, the food was good and plentiful (as was the inclusive drinks). All in all, a very relaxing stay with excellent staff and service, nothing was too much trouble.

  Lovely clean

  We stayed here for 10 nights A/I. Rooms are lovely with great a/c. Food was good and not repetitive. Very clean.enjoyable holiday. Close to tavernas and bars and most importantly the beach where we spent most days as we found round the pool a bit claustrophobic.

  Holiday

  We stayed here for 1 week , we booked a room with sea view was well worth it ,1 double bed and 2 single beds in the other bedroom. With a balcony. Fresh towels daily. Hair dryer in the bathroom .Asked for a kettle not a problem, . Food was excellent plenty of choice. The staff were excellent very helpful at all times . Check was at 11 .am but we were offered lunch . We had a evening flight , but our luggage was put in a room , scales to weigh suitcases very helpful. Next door is Philipos taverna . Restaurant. And bar well worth popping in run by philipos and his niece.1 beer and 1 wine 4.80 euros. Also excellent menu . Also hire car opposite the hotel excellent service .

  Beautiful grounds

  This hotel is on beautiful grounds. The rooms are clean and plenty of room. The staff are so nice everyone of them. We asked to be move rooms as the room was right next to the dinning area.we were given a very quiet double room at the back of the hotel with balcony and a sea view stunning. The only thing letting this hotel down is the food. Always the same food tasteless and very bland. We ended up eating out most of the time . I would love to come back to this hotel only the food they serve is putting us off. If the food could be changed and at least a traditional dish now and again we would go back.
